Looks good. I hope they release it without any bugs like previous editions!!!!!

Pdubya 08-17-09 05:14 PM

While I am excited of course...

I can't help but wonder if Ubisoft has taken all the lessons learned over these last- what, four years, to heart?

In other words... were and are they really paying attention to the things that kept SH3 from being a top-notch subsim?

So far it looks great! Can't wait for them to toss us some more bones. :D

Nice! Lost interest in silent hunter 4 for some reason, it just didn't do it for me (still playing silent hunter 3 do) but this sounds really interesting :D

So much greatness coming in 2010, man that will be a awesome year :yeah:

Well I am kinda lukewarm on this. I know it will probably be bug-ridden and need tons of fixes. That's to be expected of any release nowadays. I'm just not sure the new "features" will make it worth buying. As others have said...how many times can a guy offer you soup before you get tired of it and tell him where to stick the spoon? :haha:
This new release may be nice for those who don't already have SH3 or can't find it to buy, but I question just how much can be added that hasn't already been done in SH3 by modders? Running around below decks wears off pretty quickly. And I agree that speech should be in German with English subtitles. Makes it more believeable. I took a "wait and see" stance with SH4. I'll do the same thing with SH5.

*YAWN*

Color me jaded.

More U-Boats, more boring done a thousand times till I'm sick of them U-Boats.

There was so much left untouched in the Pacific.

And yet we go back to the Atlantic again.

:damn:

I'll pass on this one.

First thing I thought of was the GWX crew and all the hard work they have done for SH4... I feel their pain. Hopefully some of their work and ideas will be incorporated into SH5.

Of course I will buy it. One can never own too many good games...

It looks great! I hope that the price will be under 20€

Wulfmann 08-17-09 05:27 PM

I would be delighted if a 3.0GHZ dual core, 4GB RAM and 2GB of video card was required to run SH5 or more.

The more required the better the detail, the less required the weaker the graphics so make us all build a new rig, that would suit me just fine by me.

Quality uber Alles!!!

It would be pretty funny if they added all the semi-useless interior stuff and didn't have surface combatants capable of using torpedos, as well as cooperating friendly subs—and enemy subs.

They had to add fully AI (working) subs. They had to.
