OK, since nobody has mentioned it before I will tell you a curiosity while we wait for this beauty to be released :)

As has been said already, Titanic was the first of a class of vessels with three units, the two others being Olympic and Gigantic. This last one saw a change in her name after the Titanic accident, to "Britannic" (Gigantic remembered too much to the ill-fated older brother). But WW1 started in 1914, and the ships were taken over by the government and completed as troop transport (Olympic) and hospital ship (Britannic)

Britannic hit a mine in the Mediterranean and went down, and here is where the interesting detail arises: Among the survivors was a nurse, Mrs. Violett Jessop, who had already been a survivor from the Titanic, where she worked as waitress :o That woman survived the sinking of the two twin ships, and lived to go down with Cousteau on an exploration submarine to visit the remains of the Britannic.

It is unknown if the White Star Line allowed her later to travel in another of their ships :rotfl:

A kind of female Jonah :hmm:

:lol:

VonDos 08-27-08 01:24 PM

Mrs. Violet Jessop has been aboard also R. M. S. Olympic in 1911 when the British Cruiser H. M. S Hawke collided with ship's stern :hmm: :roll: :huh: :o :dead:

Awwww yes I forgot that one :rotfl: Incredible record!!! :arrgh!:

So if the new unit produces a crash to desktop or your computer explodes, remeber: It's because Von Dos actually modelled Mrs. Jessop on the ship !!!

Some news;
i've corrected some bugs:
\There was a "hole" in a crane model near the stern; now is ok.
\There was a window textures on the same crane, ok.
\ShipWakes bugfix 0,5mt ok (thanks Reece!)
\Position light models were white, now they're red and green; ok
\Marconi's cables was withe near Marconi's room's top; now they're black; ok
\Added a gold stripe between black and white on the hull (White star livery)

Reece found the "last minute easter egg" XD
Little help: it spin quickly!
