Library&textures 2009 are visual and equipment elements of the ships (guns, towers, radars, sailors). Try it. Installing with JSGME; it must work without problems with community units. By the way, great mods layers have generic entries for ships.

This is one of the warnings I get when trying to enable
"guns_radars_T01.tga" has already been altered by the "Community units" mod. "Ship_Planes_Hydro_T01.tga" has already been altered by the "Community units" mod. "Ship_Planes_Hydro_T01.tga" has already been altered by the "NCA_Northampton" mod. "Ship_Planes_Pete_T01.tga" has already been altered by the "Community units" mod Thats from the Textures SH4 2009 that is required to use the Nippon2,the Library SH4 2009 folder gives a similar warning but with a few more lines,do you reckon its alright and nothing to be worried about or not,don't want to make a balls up of a career or my beloved install:06: |
Was wondering about this as the community units mod already must contain The old SH3 Library&Texture files that were used to enable the use of the converted ships by rowi58/nautilus42/molke,do these new SH4 2009 files just go on top for the new converted ships:06:or do they not have to be used if your already using the old converted ships with the old files incorperated in the community mod:hmmm::06::oops:bit confusing really:oops:

JSGME always give you the opportunity of revert changues. Library&Texture2009 folders must be an updating of the converted ships' old files.
Also, you can try a ship installing without Library&Texture2009 folders. Quote:

Thats was I was thinking,that it might be an update of the old files,in which case I'll give it a try without them first and see what happens,if it is just an update then they should all still work ok and I'll leave it as it is,if any problems arise then I'll put the 2009 edition SH4forsh3 converted files back in,thank you for all your help coronas:yeah:,always helps to get a another opinion on these matters:salute:,wish on of the ship converters could confirm this idea first and remove any nagging doubts:06:maybe someone else whose tried these ships and community units mod together could help?:hmmm:

I agree with LordNeuro"Serbia". The merchants are much more important. It's cute to have American warships in SH3, but unless you're going to go tour the Pacific you won't see most of them, except for the destroyers. This is even more true of Japanese warships.
