I don't know. There are spatulas and there are "spatulas". No toy should ever be underestimated.

On the other hand, if you start playing Skyrim again you may never be heard from again and this thread will die and in a year or two somebody will ask "Whatever happened to ol' What's 'Er Name?"

Are you sure it was a spatula you ordered?

Oars are often similar in shape if not in size :)

She'll be needing a really long pole to move the flat boat down the Ohio river and to fend off the barge traffic.:haha:

The only other thing I've ordered and not gotten was one of the spatulas for the kitchen utensils I bought from Amazon, which is/was also on back-order... :O:

You had to order a spatula from Amazon? That must be quite a unique one.:hmm2: Any grocery store should carry them.

Actually it's a fish turner and the last item of a set that I couldn't find locally and which would probably have been more expensive that way anyway. It was just easier to say "spatula" than explain what a fish turner is. :O:

Ahh, I see. That explains it. Once again, I'm out of the loop.

Is that like an Ike and Tina Turner?:O:

Oh Cod! that was a bad joke.

Well, my bro in law called yesterday afternoon to say that Samsung has shipped my new fridge, it's now on the back of a truck somewhere. From what the guys in the appliance dept told me that means they should have it in the store some time next week. So maybe I'll have it next weekend. :woot:

In other news... I got nothin' cuz I'm still being a lazy so-and-so. In the real world, anyway, however in Skyrim many of the more popular inns now feature sleeping accommodations for whatever follower I happen to drag in there with me. :haha:

Dear Frau,

After all the work you put into moving and the follow up projects to personalize your space, you deserve a little loafing time. It's not like chores in your parents house. My pop was always griping about us leaving a door open, whether it was the refrigerator or the back door. The first thing I did when I got my own place was leave every door I had open for awhile.:smug: Ahh defiance!:haha:

As soon as that fridge arrives, hook it up (never mind the 24 hour standing upright malarkey) and stick a nice bottle of wine in it...you deserve it

As an old appliance repairman, 30 minutes to an hour is plenty of time for the oil to settle back into the bottom of the compressor. That wait period only applies if the unit was laying down for any length of time.

STILL NO FRIDGE!!!!! :wah:

I had to fill the ice cube trays again last night. OH THE HUMANITY.

According to my bro in law it was shipped by Samsung on the 8th, it's supposed to take about a week for it to get to Lowe's on whatever truck brings that stuff.

Fingers crossed that I get the call this week some time. I WANT MY NEW FRIDGE. :stare:

In other news I got Skyrim up and running again so absolutely nothing is getting done in the condo, however I am leveling up nicely in Smithing and 1H Weapons and will soon be an official member of the Companions, so there's that. :O:

AVGWarhawk 08-20-13 11:50 AM

Phhhhhtttt...swimming that frig over from China.

Sailor Steve 08-20-13 11:52 AM

In The News: Frau Kaleun throws away three notices that her refrigerator is ready. Reason: None of the notices say FRIDGE on them! :O:
