Well I started downloading the mods....installed the game and am now getting:hmmm:

Silent Hunter V has stopped working

1) are you patched to 1.2?
2) is your version Steam or DVD?
3) which mods in particular have you installed?

I have patched it to 1.2
It's DVD
No mods installed yet

Hi, I'm Lucerillo from Spain.
I joined this forum a few years ago but my username is blocked 'cause of inactivity (I suposse).
Loved SH3 and reading the forums last week I found SH5 to become hot so let's give it a try!
Got fired a few weeks ago so It's time to war.

If there are no mods installed at all, it is possible that something happened to the files and the installation got corrupted.

As far as I understand from what you are saying, you started getting CTDs on a vanilla game out of the blue? In that case it is either problem with UBI - I would suggest trying to a) see if when you are offline mode on UPLAY it works b) launch the game in safe mode?

If all the doesn't work - try re-installing the game.
