Well isn't she just clever!

The Democratic Party is reshaping its approach to political discourse with a new, provocative stance characterized by combative rhetoric called "dark woke." Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) has embodied the shift with her aggressive tone aimed at Republican figures.

You have common sense, Markus. Always a voice of reason.

I have never commented on the Political landscape in the U.K or German Political thread for good reasons. I have no Idea what is happening in England or Germany. Unlike some people, I don't pretend to understand the Political Landscape in these Countries. I have to assume the media is just as twisted and or biased in those Countries as just like in the U.S as well. Therefore, their Information on the U.S is biased and just wrong.

I would take the word of Jimbuna, Eichhörnchen or Blackswan regarding the affairs in the U.K over any Media outlet. Therefore, that's where I get my Information on events in the U.K.

People that voted for Trump didn't do so blindly. August, AvgWarhawk and others have expressed reservations in how Trump has done different things. I think we all feel that way. However, like many, they believed their Country would be in better hands with Trump as Opposed to Mama Kamala. They want the best for themselves, their families and their Country. I agree with their assessment.

So, it angers me that they are called Nazi's and every other term that the Democrats have coined and made up. The Democrats have no Ideas to Improve the U.S and their only purpose is to oppose Trump and punish those who voted for him.

However, these guys aren't Nazi's. Far from it.

Feel free to comment in the GEr thread. It is not without value if Germans learn how they are being perceived by a foreign pair of eyes, they too often think they are the example all others strive to follow. Which could be said about the US Americans, too, btw. And the mFrench. And the British. And the Chinese. And...

I also watch videos on YT by Brits and Americans living in Germany, and how they see the country in better and worse details. Its also interesting to see how their views of their own countries have changed after they spent time over here, again its someties for better and sometimes for worse.

And then, sometimes you can use the help of a pair of eyes from outside your realm to become aware of what goes wrong in your own place, maybe. Being foreoign to a place has light and shadow. Some things you cannot know as good as the locals. Other things spring to your eye as obvious things that the locals no longer even am aware of.

But of course, its the tone that makes the music.

Really. We got the economy on track again after Trump wrecked what he got from Obama and avoided a recession. We got the government to send relief funds to disaster areas. We got an infrastructure bill that started projects in which Republicans who voted against were all too happy to take credit for in their districts. We got the chips act.

Printing money in a fake marketplace is not getting the economy on track. Obama did the same. You got the government to send funds to disaster areas? My first teeth cutting with FEMA started with Hurricane Katrina. Billions of dollars sent for disaster relief since then. The Biden administration did not start something new by sending funds to disaster areas. Sheesh man, what are you thinking? The infrastructure bill started with Obama. Shovel ready projects. Do you not recall Obama saying this? No idea what the chips act is but I'm certain it drains tax payer funds for no good reason.

I stand by my statement. Biden's four years gave us drag queens reading books to children in the library while parents gave their kids dollars to stuff in their garter belts. That's it. Just going in the wrong direction. Its evident you don't realize that but the majority did. Vote them out we are told. The voting public did just that.

Yes, good analysis. "Structural rerouting of the global food trade". Not good though ..
How nice that the EU has agreed to buy soy beans from the US. Not.

Skybird 05-07-25 05:16 AM

Soy beans. Not good for animals, not good for humans, not good for the soil, not good for anyone or anything. I call it toxic garbage. That it even gets farmed shows how little many people do know about food and how perverse and corrupt our food industries are. Soy is toxic for our health, plain and simple. I tolerate it only in fermented form (soy sauce and natto, the latter being quite disguisting in smell, taste and looks, but actually being very rich in vitamin K2-MK7). Else, soy, like milk, should not be consumed in non-fermented form. And certainly no soy bean oil, thats very bad stuff.

Oh. Did I just trip over a wire? :o :D

Otto Harkaman 05-07-25 06:18 AM

Soybean tariffs sit at the nexus of geopolitics and global food security. The rapid escalation and potential for protracted negotiations underscore the vulnerability of agricultural exporters to policy shifts. Stakeholders on all sides await developments in trade talks that could recalibrate tariffs and restore more stable trade flows.

Soy is a nutrient-dense source of protein that can safely be consumed several times a week, and probably more often, and is likely to provide health benefits—especially when eaten as an alternative to red and processed meat.
Quote:

Lectins and saponins in raw soybeans can cause acute nausea, gas, abdominal pain, diarrhea or vomiting. In large amounts, ingestion could lead to weight loss, failure to thrive or death. Raw soybeans could cause long-term damage to organs and tissues if you ingest them in large amounts.
Soy beans are beneficial. Raw soy beans are not. Moving on from the soy bean discussion.

I recall some people here claiming there was no evidence the Congressional Softball team shooter was politically motivated. Now we know that's because the evidence was deliberately suppressed.

It appears the fervor by the Democrats regarding the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia is waning under the backlash of his criminal past. Audio surfaced of Garcia's wife asking a judge for protection from Garcia's abuses. Jennifer Vasquez Sura, filed a protective order against her husband in August of 2020.

As most know, the Democrats have made Garcia their poster boy for what they call Illegal deportations. The newly released Audio confirms how impotent and utterly stupid the democratic party is. It confirms for many that the Democrats advocate for the rights of Non-American's over the rights of American's.

Quote:
Van Hollen met last month with Abrego Garcia and advocated for his release, declaring that the deportation risks "the constitutional rights of everyone who resides in the United States of America." Van Hollen's trip sparked other left-wing lawmakers to also make the trip south, including Reps. Yassamin Ansari of Arizona, Maxine Dexter of Oregon, Maxwell Frost of Florida and Robert Garcia of California last month. At one point, Dexter pledged to remain in El Salvador until Abrego Garcia was brought back to the U.S.

The Democrats have gone largely silent amid a flood of newly unearthed evidence against Abrego Garcia.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime...es/ar-AA1E9pLL

While Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar told a Daily Caller reporter last week, "I think you should f--- off" when asked whether she believed that more Democrats should travel to El Salvador to advocate for Abrego Garcia.

I wonder if Ilhan Omar kisses her brother with that mouth ? :haha:

Abrego Garcia was suspected of partaking in labor/human trafficking, according to a 2022 Homeland Security Investigations report previously obtained by Fox News. The report also stated that "official law enforcement investigations" revealed that Abrego Garcia was a member of the notorious gang MS-13, which Trump has designated as a terror organization.

I hope people remember everything the Democrats have done during the Midterm Elections.

More on the Greenland issue.
Can tell you that our politicians got their coffee in their wrong throat, when they read an article in an American newspaper saying Trump has given order to the intelligence service to increase spying on Greenland and Denmark.

As Lars Lokke Rasmussen, our Minister of foreign affairs said-Friends do not spy on each other and I'm going to having a talk with the American ambassador to find out what's up and down in this.

Markus

^ lol everyone is citing one article from the Wall Street Journal which is a paywall article.

https://www.wsj.com/world/greenland-...gence-809c4ef2

I like the article's sources, "2 people familiar with the effort" Deep State Staffers :stare: lol

I hope the Danes have better intelligence gathering resources than "an article in an American newspaper"

That is hilarious. No good spy tells those they are spying on that they are going to spy on them. :har::haha:
