Hi mate,

Thank for the kind words but it is my only passion in life and i spent the last 15 years practicing and pushing my skills in 3d.

My conclusion after all those years is everything is about the light if you get the light right then you can do almost anything.

Best regards Hans

Looks Great but just one issue to use in game the Original scale will not work due to not being linked to a dual stadimeter like on the real thing.
You'll need to use the scale the Makman has in his RAOBF - this is the same one as I use for my RAOBF.

If you could redo the RAOBF with these scales and those graphics I wouldn't even want to use my one again :haha:.

Hi mate,

That what i though because the hole in the middle is rather small with the model i made but it is no big deal to rescale it to fit.

one thing also i noticed that some modders are texturing their boat and devices according to museum display and this is not accurate at all because the boat were freshly commissioned and all interior and devices were brand new and also Germans were very strict on cleaning and they took great care of their equipment.

For the exterior it is correct to have worn surface after a couple patrols the sea weathering start to show.

Best regards Hans

Looks freaking great! I also agree that the boats should look new and that the thick paint is from museum applying lots to preserve the metal from rust.Just slight weathering on outside is perfect....the stock TypeIIA is so covered in rust I laugh everytime.

Two questions, why gold trim and will you redo the air,fuel,O2 and battery dials.

Hi mate,

It is not gold but brass because early typIIA had lot of brass and i am trying to get that retro brass look.

The gauges are already done here a pic:

Sweet details!!!! Question....will you also model the Type XXI.I seen you mention it somewhere but on the HAHAD site its not listed under subs in development.Another question,is Makman working still on the GUI?Are you two combining your efforts into one GUI?

HAHD Trawler

Hi shipmates,

Remember how frustrating when tracking a ship and when you finally raised the scope to see it is a darn trawler!

At least now it will be a more pleasant experienced:salute:

The fishing net is animated to simulate the wind.

Wow, even though I feel like I have been repeating myself for the last decade, this DOES LOOK COOL!

The trawler is really sweet. Detailed and authentic.
The stock ones look too sterile compared to this new baby!

Does the Kurswinkel have a fitting Night-(red)Mask otherwise it will be to bright...at night?!:88)

Brass-away mates!
