Ahh the whale songs made it in!!! I believe a Monolith idea. Funny, just today reading a book on the USS Archerfish, they mention hearing a lot of fish noise with the sonar. Specifically Croakers. |

Unfortunatly since they put a branch of the SCSU in Waterbury we tend to get more drunk kid's in the area and I am not enjoying this at all. Torps I just would like to see a whale breaching the water from time to time and see a water spout from them to go with the whale song. |
BTW some of the new work I am doing I am
Increasing the intensity of the reflections on the water for the fire's and explosion's and getting them to show up better at night as well. And making sure they cut off properly when they get under water.
Also the work with the search light's and light houses and war ship star shell's seem to be good now. The sinking foam I got the game to start using the shp wakes for a color texture so they will show up better. Just trying to fine tune how large an area they effect. All trial and error stuff. So in the near furture after the testers get it there will be new Particles and materials file's as well as some more options for the zone's file's for the people who do not want to run NSM in thier game. |

Question on ROW Camera mods
I must say I appreciate the effort and patience of the regular contributors to this group.
After playing with the ROW camera walk around, I'd like to confirm that following performance is the expected performance or whether something is amiss with my install, so let me know if the following is what I should experience of if not how the mod should work: 1. Entering the conning tower by clicking on the hatch from the control room does not allow walk around in conning tower. The only way to walk around the conning tower is to walk through the after control room bulkhead hatch which puts you in the periscope well under the conning tower and from there you can "walk up" to the conning tower. 2. Shift F2 does not have any effect on the ROW walk through 3. When returning to the topside (bridge) view you are in the put position you last walked to. However when returning to the Control Room you are in the default position of looking at the watch officer. 4. After moving around topside there is no way to "jump back" to the default position (on the bridge looking forward over the bow). 5. There is no walkthrough when you are on the gun deck if you got there from the menu or through the hatch in the conning tower that is erroneously labeled bridge. 6. In the realistic version it is essentially assumed there is no aft TBT on the cigarette deck. Again, great work and thanks for your help |
Yep I run 1.6.5 TM and ALL of ROW
And a BUNCH of other stuff and it all runs fine. Except the LATEST Nvidia Vista driver SUX and I'm backing up to the older one.
THANX FOR ALL THE HARDWORKING MODDERS! |
Yep I know what you are talking about
