I went, the weather here was nothing to worry about. It snowed heavily for a short time yesterday morning, and that had stopped and was actually melting off my car before I left.
The friend who was going to meet me there called and said she wasn't going because she was afraid we'd come out and it would be sleeting or snowing or some such. The weather forecast called for some snow in the morning, with a brief window of nothing during the afternoon, and then the worst of the storm coming in overnight. Which is what we got, except that the "worst of the storm" here was next to nothing. I came out of Music Hall at 4:30 to no precipitation of any kind and streets that were bone dry and clear all the way home. About half an hour later it started snowing again but we had very little accumulation as it was too slushy and warm for that, it was just melting as soon as you drove or stepped on it.
Areas around us were harder hit, particularly north and east from what I can tell, but here - pffffft.
It has snowed all day today but again nothing is really accumulating on the roads. And we're supposed to be back in the mid-50s by the end of the week.
