Sorry, about that.

:O:

Lionclaw comes from me being born in early August, hence "Lion". Just added claw to it as it sounded nice at the time when I came up with the username.

And if you're wondering about my name, it's Finnish. I was born in Sweden though.
My parents are from Finland, :)

I live in a town in the northern half of Sweden a few kilometres inland from the coast. Yes I know, not really an exact location. :O:

Me in my enviroment. :03:
Playing DCS Black Shark, picture was taken in January this year. My older brother took the photo.

I finally got copies of the pictures from our September 26th gig. Many many pics, but I'll only bore you with two.

A nice full-stage shot.

And the Ancient Mariner with his Medusa shirt and mighty 6-string bass (and the other one right behind - just in case).

No! Not during winter!

Though I hear Lennon's ghost saying "Man you been a naughty boy, you let your face grow long."

Quite a beautiful instrument, what kind is it? Looks like a Carl Thompson from the style and wood finish.

Actually it's an Ibanez SR-506. Nice to play and great sound, active electronics and surprisingly light to wear.

As a backup I have a Peavey Grind six I got cheap on Ebay.

Sailor Steve 12-21-10 12:55 PM

COOL! And a lefty to boot! You're in good company there.

I used to have an Epiphone 12-string guitar, which I got the year before my first daughter was born and represented a whole period of my life.

Somebody stole it.

ps: Is that the first picture we've seen of you? It's a nice shot. :sunny:

No, it was a 12-string acoustic guitar. Same as a regular guitar, but with each string doubled, and the lower 4 an octave higher than the main strings. Plays exactly the same, but sounds like two.

As for playing, after 40 years at it I still consider myself a hack. I've played in clubs and used to know hundreds of other people's songs. These days we only play our own music, some of which is in the link in my sig, and some live stuff via YouTube and typing in Monkey Rum.

Been meaning to take a look through this thread for a while, finally got round to it. Well actually I read about a third of it then skipped to the end but anyway...

Name: Alex
Age: 19
Sex: Yes please
Current Location: Sheffield, England, home of Henderson's Relish, Heaven 17 and the Brooklyn Bridge ;)
Occupation: Aerospace Tech Student, Sheffield Hallam Uni
How I found Subsim: Gawd knows, think I must have been looking for SHIII mods or something through Google.
First memory of Subsim: I seem to vaguely recall being told off by NeonSamurai for posting something about a WoW private server :haha:

My username comes from my favourite Red Dwarf character and my favourite number. When I'm not finishing Uni assignments at the last minute, I enjoy airsoft, R/C cars, gaming (PC and PS3), used to do a bit of swordfighting at a local re-enactment club, I also have an 82nd Airborne uniform I sometimes wear to 1940s events around and about, I make a lot of models, dabble in model railways (though not as much as I used to), I'll listen to any sort of music as long as it's not rap or dubstep lol, I do a lot of photography, and a bit of digital art too.

Me on a recent ('09) trip to the amazing city that is Venezia :DL Also hopefully going there again in January.
