You know, all my years as a Medic, this always bugged me.

I was working anti-darwin.

When I was going for my IEMT my mentor was this burned out Paramedic who had been on the street way too long.

He told me that EMS works against nature in that in order for a species to survive, the stupid people need to die.

Not exactly what I expected to hear.... but I can't necessarily disagree with it either.
