Damned cheap, but little or no gameplay, but it is supposed to be really good. And it's just within my budget. :hmm2:

You might want to check TotalBiscuit's ramblings about it.

Yes. You very much need to have a joystick to play any of the DCS products.
Unless you don't care about flying and just want to sit at the airfield and press
buttons and flick switches. :O:

Arclight 07-21-12 03:14 PM

It's like stepping into an actual flight simulator, pointing at the control stick or yoke, and asking "do I really need that?".

Damage this summer;

Dear Esther Game Plus OST
Vessel
Trine 2 Collector's Edition
Frozen Synapse: Red DLC
Frozen Synapse: Soundtrack

€14.45 if I'm not mistaking.

Oberon 07-23-12 06:49 PM

Off hand (not at home PC at moment)

Some Railworks DLC
Entire PC collection of GTA
GalCiv II complete

Probably works out about £10-20.

If I'm honest there wasn't a great deal that piqued my interest this year. Perhaps I'm becoming a gamer snob...?

HunterICX 07-23-12 07:15 PM

Dowly 07-24-12 02:00 AM

Didn't spend a dime on Steam sales. :smug:

Then again, I bought DCS: P-51D, so total: $39.99 :hmmm:

Herr-Berbunch 07-24-12 06:45 AM

Didn't spend a penny, either.

But nor did I buy P-51.

Yet.

GoG.com has "USSR Invades! War & Strategy Games" promo weekend!

Blitzkrieg, Silent Storm and few other good ones 60% off!

Might have to get Silent Storm... :hmmm:

And only a month (forget that, only a week!) until matrixgames' prices drop to reasonable levels for a while! :woot:

Herr-Berbunch 11-16-12 05:39 PM

They've also got 1946 if there is anyone still to get it. :hmmm:

CaptainHaplo 11-18-12 09:06 AM

I didn't do any steam stuff, but....

Gog:

UFO Aftershock
UFO Aftermath
UFO Afterligth
Heroes of Annihilated Empires
Perimeter
Fantasy Wars
Star Wolves

Gamestop:

NFS: Hot Pursuit
NFS: The Run
King Arthur Collection
King Arthur II
King Arthur II: Dead Legions

All told, less than $60 bucks.

Crécy 11-21-12 09:31 AM

Matrixgames' holiday back to reasonable prices sale has begun!

Raptor1 11-21-12 09:42 AM

Does this work?

Anyway, Command Ops: Battles from the Bulge for $40, War in the Pacific and War in the East for $53? That's...incredibly reasonable...

But damn it, why can they not include Command Ops: Highway to the Reich in this sale too?! :shifty:

It does thank you, although I'd simply deleted the excessive preamble and got there.

Raptor1 11-21-12 09:49 AM

Ah, well. In any case, the problem seems to be that Crécy's link has 'http//' rather than 'http://', as it should be.

Crécy 11-21-12 10:57 AM

Right, should work now. I'm not very pro with ipad...

I guess it's too new... Even though it was on sale in the Normandy Sale last summer when I grabbed it.

Now I shall open my wallet and throw the content (tuft) to matrix.

E: And apparently Steam Autumn Sale might start today...

Raptor1 11-21-12 01:21 PM

The Steam sale is up. XCOM is 33% off which is quite surprising considering it was only released last month.

Typically, I think I already have almost everything I want from the Steam sale, except the Civilization V expansion which is 50% off now...

Dowly 11-21-12 01:36 PM

GamersGate got sales going too, and GoG has a "Pick 5, Pay $10" deal.
