The user Interface has to work intuitive, fast and logical. Gimmicks like real switches are easy to do but they won't work good on tiny screens. It won't be like in Aces of the Deep also. The new UI is not done yet.

When you get a rough idea of the UI can you like...post a screenshot or describe it to us?

A good UI can make or break a game. :hmmm:

Torps on the outside? lol

Well, yeah.

Try putting them inside that tiny little thing :)

Yes, UI is extremely important. I'll show it when I have something to show.

Try actually getting inside the thing!

If it's small enough that torpedoes need to be outside, that's a pretty small submarine.

This is a terrible Seehund painting btw.

You release the torpedoes with a lever and they will just go straight ahead - you aim with the boat itself.

It's going to be a really interesting Submarine Simulation... :hmmm:

I'm excited for the PC version more than Seehund though. :D

The PC version comes after the mobile main title. The Seehund version is just the first release (full version needs much more 3D models and other things).

So the UI is something completely different from both AOTD & SHV.
I see....

Hey don't blame me.
I got it from the Seehund's wikipedia entry.
And the only reason I went there is because all the google image returns stink on ice.

I'll be waiting. :D

Long time ago that I've posted a movie of it. This is filmed from iPhone screen and also recorded on the device (2nd half of the movie). Shows… well water, you know there is a lot of water in submarine games... and a Vorpostenboot.

QUERY: Progress Status

So, um -- ....

How're things coming along?

Any ETA on a release date, yet?

My grandmother died some hours after my last post. :( So I've had to drive to Kassel and do all those bureaucratic stuff and other things that had to be done there and help my mother with her new situation. I'm just back since 2 days.

She was a tough lady. She served at a Luftwaffe base during WW2 and later while she was pregnant with my mother she went upstairs and watched the bombing of Trier from the attic window instead of seeking shelter in the cellar.

In other words no progress at all since July 24.

Sorry to hear that v-i-c- :-?

bratwurstdimsum 08-24-13 06:50 AM

iPadCary 10-02-13 09:02 PM

Yeah, sorry about your loss.

So: any updates?

The deadline for "WOTA: Seehund…" is April. Which means it will be released then at any cost, more ships or possibly features will be added with updates.

iPadCary 10-03-13 08:45 AM

April ....

Well, unfortunately the month is April. But this is not my choice. It's just a fact, I have to release till then. But I will try to avoid the 1st of April.

Xaron 10-04-13 02:29 PM

Now I'm curious! What's so special with April? Do you have a publisher?
