massive loss in FPS again. I can not explain why.
|
Unable to recreate.
AMD X2 4800 4 gigs memory Nvidia 9800 GT latest drivers. 1920 by 1080 vsync off everything else maxed out Win XP Pro SP3 FPS in the boat 100 FPS in battle 70 FPS in port 45 Rel_SH4_Trans-Atlantic_Radio Setup Trans-Atlantic Radio and BBC OpsMonsun_V705 OMv705_to_V715A OMEGU_v210 OMEGU_v210_Hotfix1 OM_Arct_Env I did note this problem the other night with my dedicated RFB/SH4 install, I remedied that by switching to the desktop via the Windows key and then clicking on the SH4 app in the bottom tool bar. When SH4 came back the FPS were back to normal. Hope you find the solution soon! |
ASUS G71GX
GTX 260M 6GB RAM, After a period of play my FPS drops to ~10. RFB, TMO, TSWSM do not do the same. |

Mods enabled: OpsMonsun_v705 OMv705_to_V715A OMEGU_v210 OMEGU_v210_Hotfix1 Graphics settings: All sliders at full. All boxes checked except for "Windowed" and "Volumetric fog". Res 1280x1024, 60hz, Radeon X1950 Pro. This is not the first time I'm experiencing this though. Me and other people had the same problem with an older version of RFB too, and back then the solution to it was found. Something in the mod had to be changed, but for the life of it I can't remember exactly what it was. I'll do some searching and report back. edit: Ok here's some discussion on the issue when it happened with RFB. Starting from post #583 we discuss a partial solution that solved the problem for me, but iirc something else needed to be done too to solve it for everyone. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...003#post862003 CapnScurvy "sums it up": http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...&postcount=602 |

Lurker,
Thanks for incorporating the new shipping into OMEGU! That is a great addition and they are beautifully rendered. Kudos to the contributor! |
OK lurker, your tip works and I can see proper icons now.
What did I lost by deleting these files? |
FPS getting worse. But only in my Atlantic install. Pac shows no signs, and Med only normal drop every now and then.

OMEGU V210 Hotfix2 http://www.filefront.com/14583323/OM...0_Hotfix2.rar/ This a mandatory download. This fixes a problem with manual inputs to the Uboat TDC and corrupted icons for ATI graphic card users |
Did UBI ever asked you to join their Team?
Anyway, one thing: The crew seems to have no eyes (pretty scaring being on a boat operated by Zombies ;). The eyepatch for stock does not fix it, but the version for TMO does. |

Lurker, Is there a way to keep torpedo doors open when cycling from one tube to another?

To get rid of these three new commands;
“Crash Dive” – set speed to flank, dive to assign crash depth, lower all periscopes, and lower snorkel. “Periscope Depth” – dive to assign periscope depth, and set speed to “ahead standard” “Surface” – return to surface, set speed to “ahead standard”, lower all periscopes, and lower snorkel. What needs to be changed/edited? I only want to keep the things in bold (and I reckon that are the only things these commands did before) 2 reasons for this; 1.) I want to be able to "forget" things to do, or want to do it differently for tactical reasons. 2.) The new commands are silencing some of SPAX's sounds. Thanks. |
