Here is the desktop of my workhorse. I use 2 monitors and so the screenshot is a wide one.

Greets,
Paco.

After seeing your pictures Paco it made me go and hook up an old lcd 17inch as 2nd monitor. Now if only more games worked with dual monitor setup. Silent Hunter 5 should of had this, map on one screen while on the bridge with the other or when @ periscope on one screen with external view on the other though that last would be a bit of a cheat. :).

I could think of 20 different setups playing SH5 with dual monitors. I must google on what games run with dual monitors, I know that Supreme Commander & Dragon Age 2 work.

Yeah, that would be great. But also on normal work, it is very nice to spread your applications over different screens and/or monitors.

I can't believe how big some of you have your desktop icons!

I came across an excellent Windows Theme - Rainmeter. If interested download rainmeter v2.0 or the beta, grab their themes or go to customize.org and grab more themes there. Then use Rainbrowser to add what gagets you want on your desktop. Avoid DeviantART themes according to Rainmeter warnings that some of the images from DeviantArt contain viruses. Ive tried system hoggers like WinStep extreme and Window blinds they all just slow down your pc. Rainmeter is very light on the PC resources.

I checked that when I saw it, disappointingly, no it's not - unless it's just a 'cover'. :hmmm:

This is the storage for that folder though - you make up your own mind.

Think there's few boobie pics there too.. it's there to store my desktop icons,
but I just drop everything from the desktop there once a month.
Some 5000 files there now, 99% of what I don't need but too lazy to go
through and delete. :O:

As I've said before, the first thing I do every morning is swap out my desktop picture. So far, for the last several years it's been ships. I've gone through every picture of a British WWI warship that I have, from battleships through cruisers to destroyers, and now I've started on the Germans. Normally I don't post them here, because that would get old for even the most diehard fans, but I was about to put a new picture in place of this one when It occured to me that this was so good I just had to share it. It's two of the Brandenburg class battleships on maneuvers in the North Sea.
