What's with all the screenshots that show a sub cruising around on the surface in the middle of a fleet action???
I hope that's not the kind of gameplay they were thinking of when they said that the Narwhal Class boats wouldn't be included because "They don’t fit with the type of game play that they have prepared." |
Ah, it's just to showoff, that's all.

Well....., every time I get even a little bit "cocky" with my TypeIID, .... I get sunk.
Cruising around on the surface within a couple of thousand yards of a BB is an order of magnitude past "cocky"! |

I can't stop thinking that the guy in the middle (in the kaki-coloured shirt) looks like Captain Ahab of the Pequod......(at least how I imagined him.....) |
|
M' not suprised! After all Mody Dick is an American Classic.
But he looked more Lincoln-ish to me! Any way. The suminterior is amazing! I want that for SH3 too! :shifty: |

oh and I hope they will make this game playable in more than the 1024X768 resolution....it bugs me to hell in SH3!!! |

I do not think they are rendered... and the only reason I say that is they mention an "old film mode" or something.. where you can record the action and play it back...
Very impressive graphics though, I am going nuts waiting for this game. :ping: |
The screens are indeed impressive! I can hear my poor G-Card packin' and movin' out!:shifty:

I saw a statement from the dev team somwhere that specifically said that these were unedited in game shots.

Some of those shots would make great wallpaper backgrounds. :D
|
Well lets hope im wrong and those are in game shots :p
In all fairness though if you do watch any of the current ingame videos you wont see that level of detail...... Bubbles, particals in the water and that level of detail on the sub exterior. I guess we will have to wait for screenshots from Neals review next week to clear this up :D |
