I knew foxbort would find the thread today. I heard the score [da bears] while I was driving to go crabbing. I thought to myself: " I might as well change this to the foxbort gloating thread."

What the hell happened to the Steelers:damn: ? oops, I mean, Yippee, the Raiders won:up: BBQ at Neal's house tonight!!!:yep:

Crabcakes are on the house if the Vikes win today:rock: .

Foxbort, stop jumping on the couch, the game is over.:rotfl: :rotfl:

Seawhawks lost again.

The monestary is very cold and gloomy.

fred8615 10-30-06 10:33 AM

My beloved Saints were absolutely manhandled by the Ravens.

Hopefully this was the one bad game all teams seem to have during the season, and will return to their winning ways next Sunday against Tampa.

Foxbort..... Are you okay??? Somebody go check on foxbort...

Wait, I found him... He's under this pile of dirty laundry behind the couch. When he wakes, tell him....You guys lost to Joey (over-rated) Harrington, a QB with a rating of 64!. Now that is embarrassing:damn: :rotfl:  . Now the NFC central really is the laughing-stock of the NFL. Where is Ditka??? He needs to talk to those guys.:nope:

For god's sake the Lions won:oops: The Lions! What is this world coming to? Lions....sheesh:dead:

Any-hoooow: Saints won:up:
...and tomorrow it's Subsim bowl I: Torplexed vs Team Subsim:arrgh!: How do you pick a side in this one?

Neal, what do they do to losers at the monestary?

nikimcbee 11-05-06 07:22 PM

...speaking of losers. WTH. Vikings:down:

I'll go wipe the nachos and beer off Foxbort and we'll get in line behind Torplexed to go to the monestary.:damn: Bears loose to joey over-rated=instant monestary membership! Vikes: 3 freekin' points against the 49ers! To the monestary with us!:damn: How embarassing.

Onkel Neal 11-05-06 10:23 PM

and Da Bears! :o What's going on here? Is this Bizarro World??

Tomorrow night, Rai-dahs vs the Seabirds! Are you ready for some football?!

Hmm...I'm not quite ready for the monastery yet (my robe needs to be dry cleaned) but I am majorly upset at what happened today. The Bears were playing like they were comatose, turning over the ball umpteen times before I couldn't dare to watch anymore. Alot of it is Rex Grossman, who has never played this many games in an NFL season before, and it shows. He's extremely talented, and can make the kinds of throws I have only seen Brett Farve make before (unfortunately I grew up watching Mr. Farve thread the needle more often than I wanted to) and consequently has a very good chance of being the best QB in the NFL. I don't think that this is entirely a bad thing as now some of the hype and focus will leave the Bears and they can go about their business playing football, and winning. They're still the best team in the NFL IMHO, they just aren't as good as the 85 Bears were, and that was too much to expect anyway. The only way they could play that well is if this guy returned from heaven to the backfield:

I watch part of the Colts/Pats game. Wow, Manning is unstoppable! I still can't believe the Bears lost, what a farse:dead: . They should have played that game in LATE November, then they would have frozen the dolphins. Oh well,

Naw Manning isn't unstoppable. He got sacked what, 6 times? The Pats just gave them the game with all those penalties and turnovers.

Onkel Neal 11-06-06 01:10 PM

Yep, two of Brady's passes were tip INTs.:dead:

I was blown away when the ref gave the Pats a first down without spotting the ball!! Those kind of things seem to be routine with the Pats... :hmm:

Torplexed 11-06-06 11:55 PM

Ha-ha! freedom from the monks...16-0 over the Raiders in the rain. Given the way the Seahawks are playing I probably won't be loose for long tho.
