Is this game still worth a look? I’m excited for microprose giving it a facelift but that’s sometime next year I imagine.

Microprose are actually working on two B17 games at the moment… B17 the Mighty Eighth which will be a VR multiplayer game and B17 the Bloody 100th which will be more similar to the older B17 games.

They have released the "Facelifted" improved version of the original game - Taff in Exile on youtube has a few videos of it:

Both versions are gonna be awesome. The full release of the revised classic game or the new one which will be very interesting to see. Good old Microprose. Got to love 'em. :)

Cockpit view
 

I have two versions, the might 8th and mighty 8th redux. In redux I'm not getting the same cockpit view as the one shown in the manual engine startup video. It's too close to the instruments, can't see the throttles. I'm on a 2024 g16 Asus with a 4070 Nvidia card. Anyone have ideas. Changed my screen resolution to 1920x1440. And same thing. New to this game and flying with a joystick. Thank for reading everything else looks ok.
