You din't realise that was Grant in drag? :)

You'd come all this way to treat her to an evening on a garage forecourt, with no car? :hmmm:

I'd steal the Mallard and take her on a high speed cruise to the water tower :D

As we left the rail museum one of the gang spotted the tractor train which ran a thirty minute service to The Minster....so after much crying and wailing "I want to go on the too too" we eventually relenterd and climbed onboard.

At The Minster Anze was greeted by the Emperor Constantine but wasn't impressed with the way he was holding his sword.

Much to my surprise *cough* just down the road from The Minster we stumbled across what must be a rarity these days, a high street model shop and double gosh this shop sold diecast. I couldn't resist the temptation and upon browsing I stumbled across two more pieces for the collection, a Desert War Puma and a SAR Sea King.

Surprise, surprise. More surprising still is your indecision about buying the new additions and dragging Anze around York again to buy when you finally decided.

The puzzled look on the shopkeepers fave when you enquired about the glue was priceless.

Seems like you guys had a great time, which I could have made it but with my rotten evil luck.:wah:

Great photos :salute::salute:

Even more so when Jim asked for the Corgi diecast Gannet. (Meaning the SAR Sea King from HMS Gannet. :haha:

That's because one model was cheaper to the tune of £6.50 online even before looking up the price of the other.
