Well Tue-Thu look what the Met office has given out today. As you know they will all change tomorrow.

Update

No change apart from being a little darker out there. :haha:

Next update when I feel like it. :O:

It was due to be hot and sunny here but a little cooler than the weekend. What we had instead was heavy, low cloud, and a little rain. The got the temps about right, eventually - after 4pm when the clouds finally disappeared.

Jimbuna 07-08-13 04:15 PM

No clouds up north, just come off the decking and the beer is just as good indoors

STEED 07-09-13 10:33 AM

Hot day but not as hot as yesterday, looks like cooling down to the low 70's for the next couple of days but still good.

Sailor Steve 07-09-13 11:20 AM

A moderately warm 81 right now, looking at 95 later.

STEED 07-09-13 11:24 AM

Just checked the Met Office for the weekend looks like we are back in the high 80's and into next week.

BrucePartington 07-09-13 12:30 PM

I really envy you guys.
Over the weekend we had mid 90's F during day, while at 2 AM indoors the thermometer read 82º F.
I prefer cooler pastures.
For your reference, I live about 30 miles NW of Lisbon, in a nice and cool (as in cooler temperature) village overlooking the Atlantic.
From Lisbon to the south, we've registered temperatures in the high 90's F during day time.

For those of you contemplating spending some time in Algarve, the time is now, even though the weatherman says temperatures are expected to lower a wee bit.

@Jimbuna, incidentally, I've read in today's news that over here tourism in general is expected to increase, due to prices being somewhat reduced compared to previous years.

And you envy us? :o

I would love to live in a village overlooking an ocean.

I guess the old saying is true: The grass really is greener on the other side of the fence. :sunny:

Yeah that's what I thought but never mind we opted for Turkey this summer.
