Not as far behind as me. The kids are getting me the box set for Christmas so I have been avoiding it also far.
Apart from the books of course.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I am, I find it hard to enjoy a movie after reading the book!

I'm a sucker for behind the scenes stuff in movies. After watching both season 1 & 2 on DVD (read all the books), twice, I went back and listened to each of the commentaries of each episode. I really enjoyed Martin's commentaries on the couple episodes he narrated. Listening to his mindset on adapting the books to the screen while still telling the story the way he wanted to was really enlightening.

So far 146 (prolly more now) babies have been named Khaleesi in the US.

A bit surprised at the length of time since the last post on here (unless there is another, newer thread and I've missed it).

Just watched episode 8 of season 5 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of the main characters are beginning to find their past deeds catching up with them :sunny:

We've started watching again from the very beginning: it helps understand more about what comes later, since you can miss important stuff first time around...

I have plans to do just that but will wait until the last series ends....whenever that will be.

Phew, yeah, that was intense. Not sure how they're going to keep that lot out without importing Daenarys and her flying flamethrowers. :o

I must be the only person alive that has no interest in it at all. :hmmm:
