So I have been experimenting with some 3D stuff. And came up with this:

Here are some previews of my work in the recent past.
Only the first 5 or 6 of the Cleveland cruisers had the stock Cleveland rounded bridge while the rest had a Baltimore-ish superstructure. So I made them: http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-04-38-79.jpg The successor to the Brooklyns, the St. Louis class: http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-05-00-84.jpg Different bridge, the Brooklyns got them as well in 42: http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-05-17-67.jpg Baltimore with two aft platforms for dual 5"/38s that were missing from the original model. I also added the Mark 34 FCD foward and aft: http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-05-43-57.jpg The Brooklyns that comes with the game are armed wrong. In the game they have 4 dual 5"/38s. In real life they had 8 5"/25 AA guns. So I made it so: http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-05-59-67.jpg Updated New Orleans: http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-06-34-62.jpg Updated Wichita: http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-12-18-84.jpg The bridge has been remade and looks a lot more like it`s supposed to look like than the original: http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-12-25-79.jpg http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-12-32-59.jpg New bridge for the SoDak. It`s a much smaller Iowa open bridge, than the original: http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-13-54-31.jpg http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-14-01-93.jpg This is a new one; The Queen Victoria class from an AU website. It is basicly a 5 turreted version of the Queen Elizabeth class. The hull is based on the SHV Hood and the superstructure is made up from both the SHV Queen Elizabeth and KGV. I think these are quite the handsome lot: http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-16-11-40.jpg Info here: http://wolfsshipyard.mystarship.com/...oria/queen.htm This is the 8"/55 Mark 15 to be used on the New Orleans: http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-08-21-48.jpg http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-10-23-18.jpg The 8"/55 Mark 12 used on the Wichita, Baltimore and Oregon City: http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-10-39-10.jpg http://i777.photobucket.com/albums/y...3-10-46-21.jpg The stock Baltimore has the 8"/55 Mark 14 used on the Pensacola, Northampton, Portland and the first 3 or 4 New Orleans. It is longer and has a rounded face. |
Karle, it seems you need to update your blog.

The SoDak has been redesigned, again.
