Sorry, I'm late for this thread. I work for my money, am no rich capitalist who can live from his money and I despise my government enough that I do not want a penny from them.

I tried to have some discussion in the thread about Venezuela, pointing to critizism of Chavez' regime from a left perspective, but no discussion evolved, someone stepped back from the discussion, so I am not really in the mood to contribute something here...

being left means to me, not to be in favour of any oppressive regime, whatever colour the rulers might wave...
