As if the game couldn't get any more badass, I just went 90% through a
level carrying a turret set to target enemies. *BEEP BEEP BEEP BABABABABABABABABAB* "Hasta la vista, baby" :rotfl2: |

Very true about lock picking - and yes i cant thow as much stuff around as I could in DE1 :( - for me that is probably the single biggest let down of DEHE, it seems to have lost DE's sense of humour. there were some moments in DE 1 that had me in stiches, like chatting to a guy in the Underworld Taven while inexplicably standing on his table holding a pot plant. Or in the Lobby of UNATCO, rapidly switching the light on and off like child to annoy the two men in black. "Cease this activity" they would shout :) I don't like that I cant play the Prankster with Adam Jenson to the same extent that I could with JC Denton. Winding up the NPCs to test their patience to the limit was one of the things that made the Deus Ex sandbox world a joy to play with. Other minor gripes, I agree with that masses that the boss fights are outdated and stupid, but they only take up 0.001% of the game, so its not a big deal. Lasty,. It would be real nice to get the occassional pay cheque from Sarif industries by way of credits (im starting to think I work for free for them) And plus it would save me robbing every person, building and storage facility in sight. ive totally cleaned out the city hubs of everything that isnt attached to the ground. Deus Ex: Pikey Revolution anyone? |

I used this to blow away Barrett, then flogged it to the arms dealer back in Detroit for a whopping 2k. And since I already owned one, I also sold him the sniper rifle that sits ont he roof of his fine establishment for a further 1500. (just made sure I dropped my orginal one first, so I didnt pick up the second rifle as 'Ammo only') Anyway, 3500k .....Result  went straight over to LIMB to get me some praxis. |

Which reminds me: Deus Ex: The Recut :O: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vxi7JRJrod4 |
Ha yeah that re-cut is awesome, :woot:
But without doubt my Finest Deus Ex comedy moment - without the 'spawn mass' cheat Happened in Unatco HQ, I think I threw a chair at Shanon (the theiving cow who gets upset at JC for entering the ladies toilet) In retaliation she came at me a with a prod, but a Unatco Trooper got in the way at the last minute so she prodded him in error. :woot: Immediately every Soldier in the building came running to our location, (about a dozen of them) where they proceeded to crowd around shanon in a circle all stabbing at her with their combat knives! The best part? Shannon was a story essential character so she could not be killed! So basically she is there getting stabbed over and over by ten guys for eternity... those that could not reach her were patiently queing up to wait for their turn :rotfl2: It was like that hysterical woman scene in the 70's disaster spoof 'Airplane' |
LMAO! :rotfl2:

Finally got to the 2nd boss, what a bitch. :DL
Got the hang of it after 2 tries, she was alot like Vamp in Metal Gear Solid... err.. 2? :hmmm: *DONT READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO KNOW HOW I BEAT HER* I wasn't packing any heavy weaponry, stun gun, 10mm and the revolver, but I just kept to the center of the room and dodged her special attacks using the smaller walls (bordering the center of the room). After she ran to recharge, I followed and shot her with the stun gun, which paralyzed her for 2-3 seconds. Well enough time to land some hits. After awhile, one of the big panels (forgot what they were already, the ones that look fancy and electric. :O:) starts to glow red and makea humming noise. You just have to lure her to make a special attack near the panel and it electrifies the floor and kills her. Of course, you'll be damaged too, so make sure you have enough HP. Think I went from 100 to 35-45. Oh and don't try takedowns on her, you lose. ***ENDE*** |
Unless you get the dermal armor upgrade against electricity.. then you just stand there while she cooks over an open fire.
|
Eh? I just stood in the center and moved back when she lunged for a Typhoon strike. Pump a few shots in her while she stands there. Did that a few times and she died. Don't think you need anything fancy for any of them, I really simply just shoot them and they die. :hmmm:

Seems like the playerbase cracked the ARG, #1 post has all the steps they took to get to the end. Fancy thinking from EIDOS. :O:

Great! I thought, now I can get on with the proper game :yeah: (Boss fights are not my thing) |

Might have bought it from the dealer in Detroit (apartment bloke). Loving the game though. Edit - Oh and the Bosses are the only AI you HAVE to kill. Also, if you're playing a No Kill playthrough, be warned that sometime a Tranq will kill an AI. Apparently this 'simulates' heart conditions in AI players. LOL! Bug more like. Just check the bodies for Zzzz or a Skull. |

Still, takedowns & Stun is far more effective imho. :yep: http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...dntseenhim.jpg Nevermind me, just passing through! |
