If you find it so disgusting then redo it. All it needs is the campaign redone and it will be brilliant :yep:

First, I didn't say "is", I said "has the potential". You should try to figure out what the difference is.

Second, I said I agreed with the concept of the thread, and have myself contributed to it several times. TDW's comments and my own were meant for comparative purposes, and a hopeful look to the future. We weren't trying to turn it into a childish "mine is bigger than yours" argument, which you seem bent on doing.

I tried all your mods...but there is no mod to make a campaign like the GWX one...and I'm afraid that there will never be

It's the system of locking sub-campaigns..yes...I know the Silentotto thingy...anyway you have to sink 100,000 tons every sub-campaign---is it realistic?

I beg your pardon....

You said "has the potential" and I said "no way": a matter of different opinions...can I have a different opinion?

And now about "childish way bigger than yours"...no way...but it's my feeling...can I have this feeling?

and I am not bent on doing it...simply I said my opinion....can I say my opinion?

well...I first bought SH5

fine

then I bought SH4...nice

then I bought SH3....and GWX...oh well!

So do you understand what I mean?

Of course, but "no way" is kind of absolute. That you think it stinks is opinion; to say absolutely "no way" is usually a statement of fact. If you think it stinks, fine, but if you think it always will? We have no way of knowing that. Hence, it has potential.

Not really. We can debate the subject all we want, but making flat statements dismisses anything anyone might say to the contrary.

That's the problem. You didn't state it as an opinion, you stated it as a fact, and that automatically disallows any other opinion. There's an old saying: "It's not what you say, it's how you say it."

Of course I understand what you mean, and I happen to agree. But that doesn't mean it will always be so. SH5 does have promise and possibilities, and it may end up overshadowing them all. We don't know whether it will or not, but to say it will or say it won't is what I have a problem with. I said it has potential, which it does. You replied, not that you like it better, or that you don't think it will live up to that promise, but that it doesn't have any promise at all, and never will, which is not a statement of opinion but of fact, and you don't know that it's true.

Do you understand what I mean?

I understand it...but let you compare posts #101 and #102 about kind of absolute and post #98 for using the term disgusting

And now let you compare these 2 replies to my post

Anyone who works deserves our respect, so...

I appreciate TDW's work for his SH5 mods

I appreciate SailorSteve's for his SH3 Names list

Fantastic :yeah:
Actually I use GWX+FM_Interior+Magui Final+Open Hatch and I think that SH3 is 10 step greater than SH5 (waiting Megamod of TDW).

What do You think to work on a Megamod for SH3 ?
We have dozens of fantastic MODS but is hard undestand what to use and his sequence :hmmm:

It take me some years to collect it all,and as i bought an NAS from D-Link with integrated FTP Server,i was thinking, why i put them not on the FTP Server and share it with the Community.

But I'm glad, that you like the idea to share SH3 Mods on an FTP Server.

Sorry to ressurect an old thread, but at the very beginning of this thread, I clicked on the link for FM new interiors and the OLC Das Boot green and they seem to be broken, it takes me to the file front pages then I click download and it takes me to a page saying 404 not found. Is there another place to get these?? I Cannot locate them in the download section! :(
