Does PNG support more than one transparent 'color'? If not, what color preferably should be used as background?

Transparency isn't a color. It's an area(s) in the image without any color information, which allows whatever it is underneath the image to be seen through the transparent area(s).

It's for anti-aliasing a vector emblem with the/a background; the background color WILL affect the edges of the emblem.

Hi if you select(With selection Wand or magic Wand do not feather this area) area around Emblem and choose the colour to fill this area with flood fill tool I have just tried this with several colours on PNG image and it worked OK hope this helps If it will not work check to see if image is 8bit Colour or more if its more reduce to 8bit.

And hi to all the old geezers who know/remember me :D I sure haven't been here in ages.

800x800 is as hi-res as it gets. I kept it relatively low to keep me from going ballistic with the details since they won't show up anyway once it's down-res'd.

If it doesn't make it to the game I can post it here so anyone who feels like it, may do whatever he/she wants with it. Be it emblem for the sub or bumper stickers :DL

I Hope it makes it,Its very good. When you reduce them to 128 takes a bit out of the texture, good luck with it.

I managed - somewhat - to create an 8-bit mask for the vector object. Now I can save my .PNG's with 32 bit depth instead of 24. (As it seems PNG24 only handles one color as transparency (1-bit).)

Still the anti-aliased edges are not perfect, but the bitmap can be used on any background. :salute:

I am working in Photoshop, and I can't save it in 32 bit, only 8 or 16. And if I save for web and devices, I choose PNG-24, would that be OK, or will my entry be discarded?

Thanks for any help

How do you save the .png in 32 bit in Photoshop. Since several of you have sent in images, somebody must know something about it:06:
