Okay, I've a question.

When does the current day cycle end?

Onkel Neal 02-08-09 09:24 PM

Good question. Since the first attack was a game opener, and no player werewolf did it, we will let the game roll on another 12 hours or so, and then the NIGHT cycle will begin without a lynch vote. It will be night for about 12 hours real time, to give the werewolves, GUARDIANS, AND SEERS time to respond to my PM.

So, carry on, I will post when it is night, and then tomorrow it will be day again and the first lynching can begin.

Task Force 02-08-09 09:37 PM

tomorrow. (hey neal, what time does night end? I have to be at school till 2:05 so I could be here about 3pm.:-? )

Uh, Neal, just a minor detail.

Considering how far north Trondheim is, and considering that it's only February in-game, shouldn't sunset come earlier than 19:45 local? If possible, does anyone have an astronomy table/almanac they can use to calculate local sunset?

Probably, we better ask Stabiz :)

SandyCaesar 02-09-09 01:26 AM

Never mind, I've found it.

Okay, using Trondheim as my reference, and using the NOAA sunrise/sunset calculator: for Feb 8 1945, local sunset is 3:56 PM. Just about 1400hrs, in other words...and sunrise isn't until 7:57AM, or almost 0800.

It's going to be a looooong night, literally and figuaratively.

Say whaaat? I really doubt that, I live in Aalesund, a bit south of Trondheim, and we have sunset around 18.00 -19.00 I guess.

PS: I say I guess because I am nocturnal. (Noooo, I am not a werewolf ... or am I?)

That's dependant on your dietry preference....raw fish or raw meat :rotfl:

Night will continue for about another 4 hours.... ~ 12:30pm

What a toll :o

I sent you a PM about that just now, but for all personnel who would be under my "command", I'm not going to try to order you around unless it fits with the story somehow. And even then, I don't seriously expect you to follow any orders.
Acknowledge them or do not, as you wish.

As for me, I will be following the orders of my Oberst and Hauptmann as best I can

Pretty much the same here, I might order you to do something, but feel free to move around. JCWolf for example can move around the area on the pretense of guarding the fuel tanks ;)
Perhaps Oberon is a werewolf and will try to climb up the ranks by eating his superiors? :hmmm: :haha:

stabiz 02-09-09 08:46 AM

Yeah, had daylight here at 9AM. :)

Hitman 02-09-09 09:30 AM

Ohhhhh damn it, with so many different rules, time zones and such, I'm getting seasick

What I need is an applet or javascript that I can insert in the thread that will show a continous clock...would be extra great if it also had graphics that show the sun rising, setting...full moon rising... :hmmm: [scurries off to check Source Forge...)

Raptor1 02-09-09 10:16 AM

I have a hypothetical question

What happens if 2 werewolves try to kill each other, both thinking they are attacking humans? They both die?
