Kapitan_Phillips 09-18-07 05:40 PM

So what do you guys think is the biggest suprise this season?

For me its the Saints going 0-2

Wow, that was quick. The Falcons see the error in their ways.:rotfl: :rotfl: The local news is predicting that Joey is headed back to the bench.:rotfl:

So Mr. Leftwich, what kind of gatoraid would you like? I guess you can go back to Oregon and sell cars. The countdown begins.....:hmm:

Speaking of Oregon qbs:rotfl: no, seriously. I had a tough fantasy pick last week: vs Jets (Clemens) in NFL one year, back up to Pennington OR vs Falcons (Joey) hapless. Typical Joey stats: 130 yards passing, 1 TD (he is good for ONE TD), 2-4 interceptions, and 7 sacks.

I went with the Baltimore vs Jets, but it didn't matter, they both had their asses beat. :dead:

I would say the Lions! WTH, how can I make fun of them, if they are actually winning games.:lost:

Too bad Leftwich doesn't fit the Falcons system very well, and his mobility sucks so he's gonna be taking more sacks than Harrington. Even if Harrington does get sent back to the bench Leftwich will soon get injured and Harrington will be right back out there. This all bodes well for the Panthers though :D

I read that Atlanta with that other quaterback last year only had two (2) sacks total ... this year it's up to (14) already. They have to do something.

Speaking of QBs, I found this article about Grossman and McNabb

"Beat Team Satan" :rotfl:

You almost forgot Harringtons ultimate downfall:

http://static.nfl.com/static/site/im...logo-50x50.gif vs http://static.nfl.com/static/site/im...logo-50x50.gif

Quarterback who's already given up 14 sacks vs. Julius Peppers, Mike Rucker and Dan Morgan. :hmm:

Oh yes, there will be blood.

*edit* Hey wait a minute, is the Raider's stadium sponsored by McAfee anti-virus?!

geetrue 09-23-07 10:59 AM

Chargers will rebound with a good game against Greenbay in Greenbay :-?

Go Chargers :o I'm sure they practiced this week against big tall guys reaching up and grabbing the pass first. :yep:

If the Raiders are real they can take Cleveland, but if Cleveland is really real they can take the Raiders ...

Never in my life (born in Fort Worth)(grew up in Houston) did I imagine that I would ever root for the Dallas Cowboys, but with Wade Phillips as the coach I have to believe this is their year ... today they will be 3-0 :yep:

Somebody tell me how New England gets to play their first three games at home ... no way is that fair.

Week 1 they actually were away at the Jets, not at home.

And man, the Panthers better win this week against the hapless Falcons :yep:

McNabb wouldn't have so many problems if he'd learn to keep his mouth shut. This is not the first time he has cried foul on matters of race. Remember the 'black-on-black crime' of the TO saga?

Cliff's notes: Donovan McNabb attempted to nullify Terrell Owens' criticism of his play during the 2005 season by likening it to 'black-on-black' gun violence.
