I am truly astonished. This far, far exceeded my expectations. I loved all the historical information, too. As was said, it takes me back to the days when games had manuals. Huge thumbs-up!
This is an example for all to follow, including the Silent Hunter 4 dev' team and, gulp, me:oops: (no, no 182-pages long manual for NorOps. My heart hurts just thinking about all the work:o). Splendid work, GWX team. Only slightly negative thing is that it apparently doesn't have info' on all the new vessels. But oh well, splendid work nonetheless! |

It is true, the sheer beautifully integrated marvel of it makes one bashful to even ask such trivial questions on fatigue, or release. This Mod is one that will be remembered by the video gaming community for a very very long time. |
Thank you GWX team I love you!

We prefer to think of these as "undocumented features." - - nah, just kidding. :arrgh!: There are quite a few new ships and we may have missed mentioning a few in the manual as we were getting it out the door; if so, we will put them in as soon as possible. Which ships do you think we are missing? Pablo |
The S&T-class Destroyer, as listed in the Orders of Battle, page 89, is apparently not found elsewhere in the manual.
Also, I found this sentence a bit odd: Quote:

I see that you have included radio traffic for the new scripted missions and events. Is the messages_en.txt file based on the "full" radiolog by IrishRed , "stock SH3" or radiolog lite?
Reading the manual has just me me more antsy to get my hands on GWX!!. I know what I'm gonna be doing rather than decorating the house for Christmas. |

We will delete those characters for the next release - it looks like they didn't quite work out. :( Thanks for bringing these to our attention! :) Pablo |

While we're all very giddy, instead of bugging Kpt. Lehmann about release dates, I'd like to recommend everyone do what I'm doing to take the edge off...
First, make sure your SH3 install is clean. Roll back SH3 Commander if you use it, uninstall your previous version of SH3, and then once that's done delete all the SH3 folders out of the C:/Program Files/Ubisoft and C:/My Documents directories. Run a good registry cleaner. Next step, install stock SH3 and apply the 1.4b patch. Once you've done that and are primed for GWX fun, pour yourself a whiskey (2 fingers full in a rocks glass with 3 ice cubes, just the way Sinatra liked it) and put on Das Boot. Rinse, repeat until GWX is out. |

Additionally, perform a disk cleanup and defrag your hard-drives. Sometimes just performing some basic system maintenance works wonders. |
