Hello folks!
on the docs for this mod it sais that it fixes the problem with the stadimeter not working. Still When i try to get the range using it, its allways wrong.
I tried running the game as administrator (as told in the mods docs), but it still doesnt work.

I also tried disabling all mods leaving just this one, and starting a new campain. Still doesnt work. :(

Any help much appreciated.

Hi, and thanks for your answer THEBERBSTER. Unfortunatelly i made the mistake of buying the game thru steam, so i cant use the GFP :(

I normally dont have a problem with steam (i bought SH3 & 4 there, no problems), and i dint know about this problem when i bought the game, otherwise i would have bought it elsewere.
So i had hoped this mod could help with this issue, but it doesnt work for me.

Oh boy, i really wanted to enjoy this game (i adore SH3). But i find it so filled with bugs and problems, that it has given me nothing more than frustration.
Seriously, ubisoft should be ashamed of themselves for releasing a product in this state.

It seems no ammount of mods can bring this game to a playable/enjoyable level (for me), i am "one inch" away from uninstalling it and moving on. :(

SH5 is unplayable without TDW's Generic File Patcher and as you have found out does not support the Steam download..
You may like to take a look at this.

Thanks, i have extracted the .exe from the patch as described on that other thread, im about to download the patcher & tools.
Im excited to see if i can (finally) get some joy out of Silent hunter 5. :yeah:

How do you turn on the compass bearings in the binoculars? It says in the documentation that there is an option for it, but I have not been able to find it.
