Bought the fridge! With the 10% discount card plus the extra 5% they gave me for using my Lowe's card, the total cost (with tax) ended up being just a little over $1900. Three weeks to get it here since it was not a model they keep in stock, delivery is tentatively set up for the 27th. :woot:

Provided this fridge is not a lemon and functions up to spec, I feel like I got an awesome deal. The original list price was just over $3000 on this model, which I think has been discontinued and replaced with something else in Samsung's lineup. Whatever. It's bound to be a far better fridge than anything I've had in the past, so yay!

Given the size of the freezer on this thing, which is basically a pull out chest freezer being on the bottom and all, I'm wondering if I'll even want a small extra chest freezer in the storage room. :hmmm: It would sure give me some extra space to work with out there if I took a pass on that idea.

The real question is: Is it big enough to keep Mr. Pecs cool until needed, and still have room for the food?

For what? I never looked like that even in my best days. I was a 98-pound skinny weakling until I started working out. Then I became a 198-pound fat weakling. These days I'm stuck in the middle, my biggest excersize goal is to get to go swimming again someday.
