I've just got some fraps film coverage of lightning :)

Will convert (why does fraps use so much space for video sheesh lol)

First strike i was in binoculars checking for a destroyer

That's when i started filming

Then i got two maybe more good strikes, they don't last long (hmm modders maybe able to lengthen the visuals ?) but they do seem pretty bright lol

This is the second pics i see with ice on ship's bridge....I still have to see it in my campaign! :cry:

So I'm heading back to my subpen in the Mediterranean Sea because I'm finding nothing in my hunting area and I'm going to try and apply for a new location.. when I come across a British sub on the surface. One of our planes is dive bombing it but it's making a run on the surface still.. crazy captain.

Well... I'm racing at ludicrous speed to get into the action and he turns and heads for me.. whoops.. I go to periscope depth and head right at him.

I line up.. launch the fish from tube 1 and then I see that he's starting to dive himself. Crud.

I jumped into my externa camera to see if he was going to be able to out maneuver and go under the torp and it hit him right in the conning tower. The whole sub was under water but my fish hit him right in the middle of his conning tower.

This pic is right after he was hit (no damage shown graphically).

After this pick.. he went to full throttle and his bow planes were to full rise... he was doing everything he could to climb up out of the water and kept slowly sinking.. slowly sinking. He had like a 30 percent upward incline and at full throttle he still couldn't climb out of the grasp of the sea. All hands lost.

I felt a little bad.. a submarine captain.. comrade or not.. is still one of the few.. a brother.

Adding another picture of the same situation.. I went back into the game and took another screenshot to show you.. poor guys.. you can hear them working to stop the water from coming in.. guys screaming.. it's unsettlings. My sonar guy looks like he's going to throw up.
