Y'know, as sad as it is, I'd honestly do it at this point. But I'd never purchase an UBI game ever again. :yep:

Yeah, all of the above would be nice but for me running Vista not having a CTD would be AWESOME!

Too bad for Ubi as I suspect this wwill be my last title I buy from them. I got stiffed with SH3 and that incompetent StarForce fiasco and now this half baked thing. Don't get me wrong, it's good - when it's not crashing.

I think I'll stop here before I get flamed. Let's just hope there's not too much vodka floating around the 'ol dev room.

SHIII had 1.4B patches. SHIIII deserves at least as much. I don't have a problem with releasing a game that must be patched several times; but the developers should keep up with the players and patch the obvious faults. PATCH THE DAMN THING!!!

I don't buy games from companies that do not support their products with necessary patches.

Come on Ubi, another patch is needed! It is the right thing to do and it is the only way to insure sales of future games, whatever their genre.

I've actually held off buying SH4, partly because I didn't have enough time to play it, but now that I do have some spare time, I'm still going to put off buying it until a patch comes out.
Please Please patch it, I do want to get it!

Further patching is most definitely required, and soon! I played SH4 for a few weeks after getting it but it holds absolutely no interest for me now in its current, buggy state.

By all means, Ubi please bring SH4 up to the same stellar standard weve come to expect from the SH series. In doing so you ensure active interest/sales in any possible SH titles.

Has UBI actually said anywhere that they will not patch it? Just because they have not told you doesn't mean they are not working on it.

Games publishers rarely tell us when patches are due out, much to everyone's frustration.

I have to say that I was playing a quick game of the Midway battle. I was concentrating on getting a manual solution on a battleship when I got rammed full on by a destroyer at periscope depth. I was hit so hard I went from PD to about 80 ft forced down by the weight of the destroyer, and as I gritted my teeth in anticipation for damage reports and flooding, none came. I took absolutely no damage, and as far as I could tell, neither did the destroyer. We need this bug addressed as well as the speed judgement for the manual TDC.

Can't wait for patch 1.3!

We definitely need a patch still.
