Come on jim its easy to mistake a blind pensioner walking down the road with his white stick for a drunken 27 year old ranting outside a pub waving a sword.

Corby By-Election: Tories Face Major Defeat

http://news.sky.com/story/1001196/co...e-major-defeat

Quote:

Retaking the seat by the projected 54% to 32% margin would represent a 13-point swing back to Labour - enough for a significant Commons majority, if repeated at the general election

Lets hope we get this sort of swing in a general election :yep: it would be a massacre :D

Jimbuna 10-23-12 02:12 PM

Been asked to go there and do a little work...still considering the offer and weighing up if the digs etc. make it a doable proposition :hmm2:

Prisoners will not get the vote, says David Cameron

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-20053244

It really breaks my heart to say this :wah::wah: but for once I agree with toff boy prisoners should not be allowed to vote.

I take it you missed a word there.
In which case I disagree as Cameron as usual has got it wrong, a blanket ban is wrong and unjustifiable.
But what makes it even funnier is that Britain is opposing the measue which stops blanket bans even though it already doesn't have a blanket ban.

We are out of recession but are we out of bouncing along the bottom? :hmmm:
BTW: I don't believe a word that comes out of the ONS as they fiddle the figures far too much.

Looks like the crooks are joining me on the work programme, welcome on board your better off behind bars.

CH4 investigated A4E who are one of the biggest work programme providers and here is the figures from 2010.

93,127 sent to A4E in 2010
3,400 successfully found & stayed in work for the required time.
3.65% success rate
5.5% target set by the government, so as you can see A4E has not met the minimum target.

Tax payers money in fees to A4E £45,893,535
That is £13,498 per successful outcome

Remember there are a number of these work programme providers out there and I'm with a different one.

Conclusion...ticking boxes and milking the cow.

BTW: From LBC Radio

£400 paid to A4E for every client they see plus another £600 if they help them.
