I don't know what you're talking about, I'd never allow this thread to be derailed.

Now, what were we talking about again?

Oh, right, Independence Day. I guess I should get back on track with that.

I am intrigued by your ideas and would like to subscribe to your newsletter. Especially if it's illustrated. :O:

Well, you don't, if only because you're underage, and homey don't play dat. :haha:

I dunno, I may start taking applications here shortly. There's got to be at least one single dude on here within 100 miles who's got a set of masonry drill bits and knows how to put his pants on and go home. :hmmm:

Done and done!

A little more work than I initially intended, but isn't it always? Once I got started painting in the alcove I couldn't stop, so I ended up painting the whole thing up to the ceiling and/or cabinets plus the bit of attached wall over behind the counter next to it.

http://imageshack.us/a/img826/2376/bld4.jpg

I also painted around the other (right hand) corner, and got the bit of wall around the pantry door and around the *next corner* above the kitchen doorway.

Got the mess cleaned up in the alcove and everywhere else - I'm now pretty satisfied that the area behind the fridge, once a fridge is back in there, will not be an eyesore given what you can see and what you can't.

http://imageshack.us/a/img843/6251/7eip.jpg

Pushed the old fridge back into place but left it out to match where the new fridge will be in terms of depth if I get the one I'm looking at. I think the depth was why I might have ruled that particular model out to begin with but now I can't imagine why I thought it would be a problem. I can certainly live with the size of it as far as that's concerned.

Are we getting the Martha Stewart confessions now?:03::yeah:

Wow, 3D rush! All the kitchen pics were take looking downward. Since I've already seen them I'm scrolling past quickly, and the bottom three all look like they're moving away! Cool! :D

Those are doormats that were left by the previous owner, they might as well stay in front of the doors until I have something to replace them with (or decide I don't need them).

Circular saw, saber saw, variable torque drill and a lantern. All powered by the same batteries in one convenient kit.
What did you think I meant by other?:hmmm::03:
Would you like to see what I can do with a spatula?:yep:

TarJak 07-05-13 05:48 PM

What you do with a spatula in the privacy of your own home is best left that way.:O:
