Let freedom ring. We'll all see just how wonderful this plays out. I hope you didn't lose your life savings investing in $TRUMP.

There must be something in his speech which you who support the Dems can say- this I can support.
And there must be something in his speech which you who support him can't support. Markus |

Well, of that there will be no shortage, I'm sure. It's a pity that the rewards will not go to you, though, but to the ultra rich. The vast majority of those with no savings now will be without savings in 2029 as well, joined by a sizeable number of people who still have little savings but won't have them much longer. |
Paris climate deal: out. Check. :Kaleun_Applaud:
WHO: out. Check. :Kaleun_Applaud: For us Non-Americans, this is of interest since the US action and support feeds back on both these organizations. I would wish Germany and the whole damn EU would follow both examples. The UN is a rotten swamp that should be dried out. Of course I know better than to expect any of this happening seriously. The pardoning of Jan. 6 attackers I find disgusting. A mixed bag of other topics his day one executive orders adress. Some I agree with, some I dont care that much for, some I oppose. Not that I matter. But we are here to chat, right? :) So let the bloodbaths begin! :D |

I like the return to two genders only. Good, thats plain reason - and biologic fact. He seems to leave the electric-cars-exclusively-policy. Good. The migration acts: understandable. The way he weakens FED services I cannot fully oversee in consequences. No comment. But he seems to heavily occupy the justice department on behalf of his personal interest. Not good. The pardoning of Jan. 6 attackers I find disgusting. A mixed bag of other topics his day one executive orders adress. Some I agree with, some I dont care that much for, some I oppose. What remains to be seen is his dealing with Ukraine. Many of his decisions made and still to be made will effect economic topics of national and international concern. We will see what comes from that. No matter what, one will probably not be happy on both sides of America's border. Not that I matter. But we are here to chat, right? :) So let the bloodbaths begin! :D |
The Danish politicians got their coffee in the wrong throat, this morning.

And the signatures! :D Signatures like a saw blade! Scribble scratch, every point has to be sharp and every angle has to be tight so that you cut your eyes open already while reading. :) And he should use a brush, he could apply it much more broadly then.

The really funny part was at the end of the signing ceremony: it is the usual custom and practice for the POTUS to use specially prepared pens to sign important documents; if you looked carefully, you'd notice a box on the desk, directly next to his right hand, containing the supply of those ceremonial pens; normally, a POTUS would pick up one of those pens, sign a small portion of his signature, pass the pen to attending dignitaries as a souvenir of the occasion, pick up another pen, from the box, sign a couple of more letters of his name, pass that pen to another attendee, and continue in the same process of partially signing and passing out pens until the POTUS completes writing his signature; the pens used in a POTUS signing ceremony are highly prized since they are both something personally used and presented by a POTUS and they are a physical memento of one's presence at a historic signing; since Trump is so obviously addicted to his Sharpie felt pens (leading one to wonder if he might not be sniffing the fumes from the ink - it would explain a lot), and he used just one Sharpie, there were no commemorative pens to be handed out; after signing his EOs, Trump sat there with a silly grin on his face; he glanced down to his right, saw the box of unused ceremonialpens, picked one of them up and sheepishly tried to offer it up to the persons standing behind him; the people standing behind him seemed a bit confused and unsure what to do, particularly since the unused pens were just that, unused pens with no historic value...
Given Trump, it wouldn't have been surprising for him to have given out those novelty pens with a girlie picture whose dress disappears when you tilt the pen... <O> |
The thing that i'm kinda a bit negative about. Is the amount of power or influence the US president has for the world.
I have no problems with US voters voting for there own president. But its kinda weird that US voters indirectly have influence on the world stage (what happens in other countries) Because they are the only legitimate voters that can give or take away power from the US president. |
I expect he’ll try to sell the pens as more grifting.
