Silent Steel (and anyone else who may wish to comment)

Prior to starting a new career I've been sitting in the bunker for the last week or so totally rearranging my MOD list and now I think I've given it my best shot.

I was hoping, if you've got a few moments, if you might be able to review it and offer any of your usual great advice as to suggested additions, removals, or rearrangement. It would be most appreciated and may save me from self-inflicted damage.............My thanks in advance!

Before you install any mods make sure you take the documents folders out .

Does/can the 'documents' folder really affect the mod's function and features? :hmmm:

For sure there can be conflicts and will probably be in the future as well. What's important is - which files get overwritten?

In which mods?
How does that affect the actual mod's features?

As you now can tell exactly which mods in your list conflict with some other mod/mods the only way to find out exactly which files get overwritten is to load such a list myself.


But hang on - I'll give it a shot but not until tomorrow, we have a birthday party on. Tomorrow..

hello, here my mod soup;I'm playing in last year campaign,I've equiped my sub with schnorchel in the bunker and when I'm start the mission, no schnorchel on board?!!Why?

Hello.

I just buyed myself the Silent Hunter 5 and want toplay it with Mods.

I just got a Modlist from Marinesims.de (as i play German Version) but
got Problems with the Modlist. Problem is that every Single Merchant is
racing with Fullspeed over the Map. And i had 1-2 CTDs aswell.

Here is my Modlist and Modlistorder:

Hope you can help me. Or is those Racing Single Merchant Ships a Feature?

Taki1980,

try this order, it should help with the CTD's:

- Magnum Opus
- Magnum Opus Patch
- Shadow Improvement
- New Uis
- Dynamic Environment
- Open Horizon
- Open Horizon Patch
- DeutschMod
- Accurate German Flags

If you want to use Stormys DBSM Mod, it should go between Dynamic Environment and Open Horizon Mod
