What was it that pope Julius II kept asking Michelangelo about the completion of the Sistine chapel?

What was the reply?
"It'll be ready when it's ready" :DL |
I think to do a properly made mod like this take a lot of time for just one person working, we already have experience with the half baked games released by UBIUSOFT ,may be Tomi even want to add to this mod the realistic and properly working oil pressure gauges that react accordingly with the RPM of the engine and even more imortant the possibility to stop and reverse the left and right engines independently, I dont know if this feature is even possible

You know the saying , Rome wasn't built in one day

:88) lol? guys, you didnt get the point. the room IS ready. ok, its not perfect, as to the missing minor details, but who cares??? its almost perfect, already extremly detailed for my opinion and therefore ready to be finished. so much work, for a u-boat type in which you cant get a hit already from 1940? no chance to survive in this little boat - beside the kaleuns who just want to patrol the shore areas. so please, why (except the high demand tomi has to succeed in building the most detailed compartment, that was ever build) spend more energy in adding details??? its simply over-engineering. senseless... if this where compartments for the VII type, i would understand the time and energy, that was invested - you would see them ingame for a long period. i see clearly the future, guys. there´s gonna be a nice, fully suited type II and NO additional comp for the other boats for month/years. maybe never...as e.g. tomi would never invest as much time in a second project like this (8 month - unbelieveable). and there will be no other one, who will spend this time in it. :shifty: i really do not understand, why nobody else gets this point. tomi, please: finish it, leave it as it is. its far more than good, its almost perfect. this is enough. if there is some energy left, start to build the VII machine room, or torp comp. :know: |

But anybody will tell you this man is THE perfectionist. He knows what working hard means, and constantly proves himself to be the man for the task. Quote:

chill out urfisch!
Tomi want's to make what he wants to make. you are in no position to tell him what to do. sorry. Nobody is paying tomi to do this so really it's his choice. If you want a VII class room find somebody to do it! ok rant over |

There are still some minor corrections to make here and there but it stumbles on a part where the love for the detail lies. Perhaps, therefore, repeated images from different perspectives. If I do not leave all the good gods, I hope the very type II with GWX4 will appear. Actually I should from now with the torpedo room to start, but no matter how fast I go on my runs the time like this, maybe I'm already exhausted. Yes VIIC it should be where all the energy we want, but as expected me twice as much work as the TYPII. I must say that I've been working with some of the TYPE II Kilo has been increasing. That means I am one hours each day to do other sports can I get health dishonor apart from the few sleeping the last time I did. None of this will hold us to build the VIIC. For I wish you give me so much like her!
danke tomi!! |

:88) sorry, but i keep my point of view. nevertheless i understand tomi, if i would have created such a nice model, i would also have the high demand of perfection, although nobody would ever find a missing part in it at such a high levelled state. :know: |

I actually agree funny enough with urfisch.
What TOMI is building is a uboat engine simulator. 99% of the game is about torpedoing enemy vessels, its not about oiling an engine. The subsim community will not spend (I guarantee you) more than a 10 minutes in the engine room during the whole life of a mission. I'm not asking TOMI to stop his work, but to be useful to most of the subsim community one must know when to stop and save the balance of the engine room work for a new release later on down the track. At this rate, there will be a SH5, everyone will have moved on and no one will be playing TOMI's mod. |
I hope you are wright about SH5 , but I saw somewhere a detailed list of the UBISOFT games need to developed this year and in the next year , unfortunately I didn`t saw SH5 , most of the games listed were not PC games
