Elon will cut spending so that he can take that loot in tax exemptions, none of the money from the cut will end up in the hands of normal hardworking Americans. Make billionaire welfare great again?

It's worth mentioning that Congress critters used to have much smaller districts, I seem to recall that originally they were just about 5 or 10k in population each. They had to cap the number once it got to 435 because with so many members running around bloviating all at once it had started to become rather unwieldy. The solution was to freeze the number at 435 and increase the size of the districts. Now each district has over 700k people and that number fluctuates.

Which is quite a high ratio. For cpmparison: The most populous nations in Europe (Italy, UK, France, Netherlands, Spain, Germany) all have round about 1 member of parliament for every 100,000 people.

It was just a thought and Ostfriese was right in his response to my first post.

Maybe Musk will cut down on government officials and thereby save the state for some millions

What I do know is that he want to make the machinery to run more smoothly effective.

Looks like Trump and Musk caved and the government is funded. Enjoy.

Let's see how well Trump, the narcissist, will take all the "President Musk" tweets.

The Budget of the United States

I think it's time for the, Elected Politicians... Who have been for Decades suckling on their constituents,... To present a budget for the Entire Government's expected expenses for the coming year. No later than the second week of September in the current year. And a failure to resolve any issues between parties by the end of October And present said budget to the Public for approval by the end of November. If the budget can't be resolved. Well, damn we all have had to work thru Christmas. Haven't we ?

I think its not helpful at all to just plan for saving some millions. Trillions is closer to the problem. The American debts have become unsustainable for the economy.

Everyday people get up and go to work for 8-12 hrs a day just to earn the money it takes."something a activist" doesn't know!... to live and take care of their children and themselves and live in a society that lives in chaos. And if your mentors believed in all they teach you. Then why don't they.. At middle age or better turn their backs and give up their tenure and join you ?

Would it be because their Capitalist and living the good life of tenure ? That you and your parent's so graciously along with others pay for their lives of luxury. Yes even you fall somewhere in this Ideology. And i bet you live in a upper class Capitalist Socialist neighborhood. And you love the chaos as long as it doesn't touch you.

"The final version stripped out some provisions championed by the Democrats, who accused the Republicans of caving in to pressure from an unelected billionaire with no experience in government."

Does it really require experience in government to recognize you are screwing it to the taxpayers? Idiots.

Trump’s big threat to Republicans not kissing the ring failed. He’s a lame duck at the starting gate.

mapuc 12-21-24 11:02 AM

He haven't taken on the coat yet and already there are people who is against him or accuse him-Let the man be the President for at least 2 years before you judge him.

He may do good things for the Americans or bad things nobody knows for sure.

Yes he have been a President before-This was then.

Lifting the debt ceiling, which Trump called for and is a self-imposed Congressional spending limit, doesn't sound like someone who gives a crap about reducing the debt.

Trump is still only interested in himself and his rich buddies getting richer off taxpayer backs which is how he added seven trillion to the debt his first go around. He will try this again, especially with someone like Musk trying to make the rules.

Oligarchy USA!!!!
