The after conning tower, replacing the depth charge racks, allows the crew to keep an eye on the surroundings by means of periscopes, while also provding the boat with some extra anti-air weaponry. It also comes with a UZO.

OK, so a destroyer rammed me, blew itself up by doing so, and decided to sink on top of me, wielding its aft and my conning tower together by means of game glitch. Result: 1 dead submarine.
