Ok, I think I'm gonna go rob a bank or something...I :damn:NEED :damn:A :damn:NEW :damn:PC :damn:!!!
Uh...I'm fine now...as you were! Ok, seriously now, regarding different sunrise/sunsets, I'm usually inclined to say "your ship, your call". But damn those look too stunning not to be shared! Even though I probably won't enjoy them on my antiquated piece of no good %$#$! Robbing a bank...hmm... |
Mods, lock this thread please.....
I can't take it :damn::damn:, the latest ROW pics are to dissruptive to my work and will lead to me getting fired :o:o http://static1.filefront.com/images/...v.thumb500.jpg Seriously, that is some great work LV :up: RDP |

thanks for the comment's guys
That is the sun set work so far. I will be posting screen shot's for the sun rise soon.
If will go from a light orange dawn to the bright yellow then the blue no red's or anything in it. Just after the sun goes down the sky goes from a light red to a purpleish color then dark. For the sun rise the sky starts off as a very light orange out of the darkness until the sun come's up then the changes happen. We just need to work on the blue sky color a bit because it is light enough to change the sun halo color. And the night sky is dark as it should be. When the moon is up there is just enough light from it but dark with out a moon is dark as it should be and is in real life. So no moon and it is not easy to see. Dark and fog OMG forget it with out a nav map you will never see the land. |
This is the DAWN sequence
But the last one will have more yellow in it soon being worked on now.

Some feedback on #4 : the new roll and pitch enhancment for the ruffer waters.... To be clear ..i never served on a sub ...so i'm no expert on what there motions etc. are and where. Buth ..what i experienced this evening reminded me of the first ship i served on ...a MSI (Mine Sweeper Inshore) Wooden ship length:112' Beam:23' draft:8' speed:15 Kts displacement: 120 t armament:one twin 20mm oerliken http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/1968/merksem2us1.jpg Not bigger than a fleetsub i think and no escape from ruffer seas ...been in a 10 beaufort storm in the channel in '74 with the M477 oudenaarde ...but that's a whole other story. Well Leo ..the roll is very close to RL experience i had on these shiptype. The pitch ...i'm still not shure ...i feld that one more in the stomac i suppose:lol:.... I mis a few things ....howling(is this the correct word ?) of the wind ....bigger splaches and the noise of that bowsplash ....wait ..have a pic of a MSI in ruffer waters somewhere..... http://img527.imageshack.us/img527/5...wavefunps4.jpg See wath i mean ? If you could make that splash in front bigger in the game ..it would maby increas the feel of the pitch .... This is what i have seen in game .... http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/1117/splashkebr4.png I am a very happy SH4(TM&ROW) player and i am happy with wath i have now ....so please see al the above as positively meant input ...just my 2 Eurocents sry for my basic english ...i hope it make sence;) |
