A zombie thread needs to be revived every once in a while.

Actually, in a previous tech post to a apologizing noob who was worried about re-asking an old question, I pointed out that we practice the Christian virtue of thread resurrection after the third day for the benefit of new arrivals or those low on their Aracept... so yer moral revival support is appreciated! ...and CyberBBY... yer under 21; no beer swillin' kaleün logos for you:nope::/\\!! unless it a HAMM'S of course!:yeah:

Ok after reading the whole thread it made me wonder something. Was SH5 really bad enough to cause a troll like that when it launched?

That's an interesting question and one only the OP could answer I suppose.

No. This was the umpteenth return of a troll who's been around since long before SH5.

A side note: When the thread was new someone recommended it for Thread Of The Year; not for the original concept but because of what the community made of it. The idea was rejected on the grounds that it would mean giving a Best Of Subsim award to a troll who had already been banned from Subsim more than once.

Thanks for the info. On a somewhat unrelated/related note i've always thought of trolls as the washed up celebs of the internet as they'll do anything for attention.
