It is a balmy -8C/24F this morning and no snow, yet. The forecast is for a wet Christmas. Rain. I surely hope it is not freezing rain.

It is pissing it down this morning. 34F/1C and I can hear it on my steel roof.
They are calling for snow tomorrow, but no guesses on how much, yet.

PRECISELY! Why I left the great white wasteland and I thoroughly enjoyed mowing the (very damp) lawn yesterday. Beats shoveling snow. Daughter to arrive for four days from new job/apartment; Empty nest-blues mom is all excited. Were socked in with fog and drizzle but it should clear. Friday fore cast looks good for sailing.

Still warm here and pissing it down, BUT there will be more snow for Christmas day. We still have 2' on the ground.

I got up at 6 this morning and it was snowing hard. It has stopped now and we have about an inch of fresh snow. We may get a little more today but I doubt it.

We're definitely not having a green Christmas. 13C right now on PEI. Heavy rainfall warning has been given for later today. No snow is OK with me. We are heading off to the other end of the Island later today to visit friends and relatives. Driving should be good.:D
