Hello , thank you to the GWX team , well done :yeah:

Checking GWX4 I saw some U-boot pictures with Dynamic Shadows , I knew that SH3 was made basically with Dynamic Shadows even if due to bugs in the code this Dynamic Shadows of SH3 were not working properly and therefore the rendering of the those Dynamic Shadows were problematic , but as far as I know SH4 have a Total lack of Dynamic Shadows , therefore I guess the GWX4 screenshots of U-Boot with Dynamic Shadows must be screenshots of SH3

well as far as I can tell the screenshot you posted is neither sh3 nor sh4 but rather a 3d editor.

I ask, because there is no mod which allow play as uboats in multiplayer mode...

Technically, all that would need to be done, would be to re-identify the player U-boats in such a way that it fools the simulator into thinking that they are Gato's etc.:up:

Hey!

I really like the screens I see on your page right now! But I still have a few questions:

1. What's the Game Language with GWX4? In gwx3 it was possible to change it, in 4 it isn't, so most mods are simply taken from the englisch language. Will it be possible to choose again?

2. That Interior for the type II looks just awesome! Are you going to expand that detail to the rest of the flotilla?

3. Waterline. I'm not sure if this is possible to fix at all, but under some conditions, if you have a stormy sea, the boat flies like on invisible rails through the water. Do you know that porblem?

4. Crew: I'd really like to see more crew, when I'm on the deck and in the command room. It simply looks too empty to me.

Welcome to Subsim, campinge. :arrgh!:

1. We'd like the crew to speak German, and have English and/or German Subtitles at the very least. Further translations to other languages will probably have to occur after our initial release.

2. Wouldn't you like to know.:D

3. We were able to give the boats in SH3 much more movement... SH4 doesn't look much different in this regard codewise... (unless we run into something unexpected... We have not started messing with the u-boat physics much yet... so we'll see what we can do.

4. We are hoping to do some quite special stuff with the crews.

5. NO MORE QUESTIONS PEOPLE!!! I'm not gonna break my own rules anymore.:O:

Well Kpt... as community representative, I have some crucial questions:

- Would you make ladies underwear at ports...bright pink, instead of brothel black ?
- I've heard some rumors that squid fishing in ports would be possible ?
- Could you make workers in nearby shipyards playable, at least those painting the ships

Hmmm... my mother in low had another set of questions forya...but I left it in mi trunk...

Wohoo, great new site. I've just watched the video and I almost cried in joy. How did you make the torpedo switches work again? Anyway, I've once tried to battle with the SH4 interface and if you're interested I can share some small tips I've found. I'm not good at all with the ini file but I've done photoshop versions of the Periscope view I'd like to see. PM me if you're interested :up:.
