Finally! Weather is finally getting milder. It was -31 C / -24 F in morning but now only -16 C / 3 F and going up. :sunny:

Unless weathermen missed the ball again and their "forecast" is yet again total hogwash...

There goes my lettuce and apples. I hope the cherry fruits will survive, they already bloomed last week.

We had something almost approaching that a couple of nights ago Anze but fortunately it didn't lie long the next day.

This one should be gone by saturday.
But the damage is done. Apple and pear trees already dropped their blossoms without the necessary visit from the bees. And every other fruit tree I saw today has at least one branch broken off.

Oh well, que sera sera, it's Alpine life. Before May 15th anything can happen

Look on the bright side....no mead this year :)
