Just a quick hello from me. I've played subsim games from SH1 and through all the sequels, but my first exposure to the subsim genre was waaay back on the NES with the game Silent Service (ah, you gotta love nostalgia). Over the years I've learned what I can about subs, WWII and older specifically (and U-boats to be even more specific). I'm just fascinated by them and I couldn't say why.
But, in any case, I'm glad to have finally posted something after lurking for years here and look forward to hopefully participating more in this wonderful community. ;)
