TBH it was rather easy...must have been because I knew it, watched it as a teen.

:hmmm:

I didn't know it was done in the late 1800's?
:haha:

Mom and Dad loved that show.
And for some reason? That Actors face has stuck with me.

I liked the show as well. The Don Collier picture would not have triggered my memory, but I easily remember Henry Darrow (top pic) from that show.

Geeze, we had a lot of good TV westerns in that era. Now we get 3 Law and Order shows and 3 or is it 4 CSI's? :nope:

Well hang tight!
A new Charlie's Angels is comeing.
:nope:

What i would like to see is something new.
And NOT another reality piece of crap!

What lead actor on a TV show was a major league baseball player for the championship 1949 Dodgers whose roster included Jackie Robinson, Gil Hodges, Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snyder and Roy Campanella. They lost the world series to the Yankees in 5 games. He also played for the Cubs.

He played basketball for the Boston Celtics. He was the first NBA player to ever shatter a backboard. (The glass had not been installed correctly) He was drafted by the Chicago Bears but never suited up for them.
During WWII he enlisted in the army spent most of the war as a tank-warfare instructor, stationed at Camp Campbell, Kentucky.

Don't cheat....that would be too easy.

I am impressed. I'd have needed some hints.

Madox58 08-20-11 06:24 PM

How would a Gordie know that?
:hmmm:

I was a big fan of the western series The Rifleman and I remember his profile being in the press :smug:

I find it strange that the English watched American Shows
and Americans watched English shows!
Monty Python was a bigger hit in the U.S. was it not?
Infact? Most people here around me can quote nearly every single episode
of Monty Python at a snap!
:haha:

Jimbuna 08-20-11 07:00 PM

I'm not sure if it was bigger and better received but you must take into account the much larger audience in North America.

EDIT: Remember Hill St. Blues?

Now that was my all time favourite but was never recorded onto disc as far as I could tell.

Gee you guys are coming up with some hard ones!!:yep:
I can only put the ones I've seen and know, but seems everybody else has seen em!:DL But I'll keep trying, here's another:
