Tho, I seem to remember that Ridley said he is going to use some fancy pansy new camera/technique for 3D so who knows. :hmmm: Quote:
covers what potentially harmful material (for kids) the movie has. :O: |
I wish it was Cert18 to keep the riff raff out...teenagers. :arrgh!:

Luckily where I live, people just sit with their mouths shut and watch the movie. :O: Then again, it must be almost 10 years since I saw anything in the movies. :hmmm: Just need to figure out when it's opening here, official finnish opening is on June 1. but living in a small town that might be pushed back. |

Can't say that I'm too excited about the film with 6 days to go. There was far too much sunlight in the trailer (sounds stupid I know, but the total amount of time spent in the sun stretched over four films was about thirty seconds,) every other snippet was of some grandiose special effect, and it is Cert15. Do people even make Cert18 films any more? The 3D thing doesn't bother me too much, though I still maintain it is pointless in most cases and much better suited for gaming than movies.
Oh well, at least I won't be disappointed if it sucks. |
The French press screening was today and the first impressions and reviews are
surprisingly mixed, ranging from big disappointment to average to amazing. One of the members over at avpgalaxy saw it too, so kinda waiting what he says about it. :hmmm: |
Prometheus 2D Review
I will leave the 3D to someone else who watches that version. Well this is going to be tricky.. Is there a direct link from Prometheus to ALIEN? No, if your thinking in the terms do we find out how they got on that planet (LV428 ALIENS) and what happen. I can safely say that as I'm not giving anything way by saying that. Right moving on..The Space Jockey (ALIEN) Engineers (Prometheus) sorry folks I can not say anything as there is a damn good reason which you will find out on watching it. Weyland-Yutani Corporation funds the mission to find our beginnings and something else which I can not say, It's set on LV 223 a totally different planet from ALIEN. Is it as good as ALIEN? Well I classed ALIEN as Brilliant but this is not brilliant it's good to very good. Some points about the film I did not like and it raised far more questions than answers, so is there room for Prometheus 2? Yes without question, once again you need to see the film to understand that one. Ridley Scott states..."You will have experienced something completely unexpected." Well I have to agree, this film dose not feel like the ALIEN film. Worth Watching? Yes as it tells the story of the Space Jockey/Engineers and the cast was not bad and Ridley's Directing is of the high standard we know. Gore? Not a great deal, just one moderate scene. Do we meet the ALIEN we know? Well once again can not say. Score 7 out of 10 at the moment still pondering over this one. __________________ |
BTW: UK folks I noticed when I went to see the film the cost for 3D was more than 2D. :hmmm:
|
I'm honestly in no great hurry to see it but expect to within a week or so.
