While the date is ok for me - I do want to point out the obvious....

There will be a couple of games yet to be played - that could seriously screw a FF player if injuries happen....

Just saying - may want to wait till right before the reg season.

Someone snags Brees or AP and then they break a leg in preseason, its not gonna be pretty....

Welcome to fantasy football.:har:

Idealy, you'd want to do it at the last minute, but I'm busy the prior 2 weeks before I need to submit the draft results. I think the 14th is the latest where all the stars line up accordingly.

FF really only starts after the draft.
Injuries are part of the pain but also part
of the fun.

Trades, claiming players off waivers and finding that
diamond in the rough are what make FF.

:o

The way I draft, I might be better off with Yahoo's picks.

Has it been decided for sure yet whether we are having an online or offline draft?

After all these years, I have determined that nobody drafts well. Seasons are won and lost on the waiver wire. Picking up a few good free agents will get you through.

Very true.

We still have room for one more person. Any takers?:D

nikimcbee 07-28-10 05:01 PM

...I really like the 14th for the draft, just need to pick a time(?)

and I/we need to decide the draft: Live or off-line? I need to count the votes.

I still need to play around with the live one some more, but it worked really smooth when I tried it.:hmmm:

I vote live draft, and 7th or 14th is fine for me.

My vote:

The 14th and offline draft.

CaptainHaplo 07-28-10 07:53 PM

Which is easier? I prefer live.

mr chris 07-29-10 11:29 AM

I vote On-line Daft on the 14th

mookiemookie 07-31-10 07:16 PM

*BUMP*

No one interested in the last spot?

ReallyDedPoet 07-31-10 08:34 PM

Offline may be the easiest at the end of the day. The real fun begins after the draft.
