Well it's still good advice though. If the disc offers perks or is cheaper, why not go with that?
btw, anyone else figured out that you can capture the "admin" during a hack and get all the stuff from data stores without actually having to capture them? Not always possible, but often quite handy when you can. :know: |
P.E.P.s is a single shot burst weapon, stuns everyone in the blast radius, great for groups.
As for the silencer, the second gun dealer sells it. |

Would've liked to have more interaction with the world around you, like you
can only carry certain objects instead of everything you see. Makes some of the "puzzles" too easy this way, f.e. a corridor with mines in it.. hmm.. I should probably use those conviently placed barrels here. :O: Also, way too much hacking for my taste, what happened to lockpicking? :06: DE1 saw the need for it and that takes place in 2052, HR's story is taking place in 2027 (IIRC). One would think it'd be the other way around. That's about all the things that bug me in it. Everything else is solid DE, looks good, runs well, controls are easy, the augs are nice and varied and of course, not just one way to do things. 9/10 from me. :yep: |

Seriously, I've got so much credits I haven't got the fogiest what to spend them on. Not done with it yet, but I bet I'm not going to run out at any rate. Would actually have liked it if there was more need to really decide what and what not to buy. Lockpicking... good idea, but they just replaced all the locks with electronic ones. Guess it boils down to the same thing, apart from not having lockpicking-related tools and augments. It's a bit artificial, but I like that there's so much to hack. Definetly keeps the explorers busy. |
BTW, is it possible to kill "bosses" with non-lethal weapons? Stopped trying
after a few deaths against Barrett and whipped out the sniper rifle. :hmmm: Oh and there's 2 credit chips in the room, in both alcoves, 700 & 800. |
Dunno, haven't tried. :hmmm:
Do know it doesn't matter though: killing them doesn't count towards getting through the game without kills. Actually: Quote:
That would be why I haven't even tried. |
Yeah, figured it wouldn't matter. Just asking as I am mostly just carrying non-lethal
weapons with me. |
Carrying a pistol specifically for these guys. And now a revolver... I'm just a sucker for exploding rounds.

I don't partake on a single Op without my stun, my Tranq, and my peps... each one has a crucial role in the stealth/non-lethal build. Groups of break up 90% of the time... if your going for a stealth non-lethal build you have to have patience simple as that. Now SOMETIMES the group can't be avoided... ie: having to storm a tiny apartment with two in the bedroom three in the living room. In that case Conccusion grenade, Take down, Stun Gun, Take Down. Wall for cover, Energy bar, Door opens two guys come out of bedroom, Take Down, Stun Gun. Feel free to rinse and repeat.. Besides with the RPG elements of the game you can boost your problem areas quickly enough... if your having trouble with multiple hostiles... level up the multi takedowns. |
Did everybody get their Combat Rifle?
|
Ha? Found 2 in the apartment, sold 'm off.

Fully upgraded pistol is nuts, chops them bosses down to size rather quickly. * oh right, mystery code bits went up last night: http://www.vg247.com/2011/08/30/deus...-coded-puzzle/ |
I've switched to takedowns & evasion completely (and a bit of cloak when
absolutely needed). Can't hit crap with the tranq rifle, gonna sell it the next time I see a merchant. :hmmm: |
To hell with the second boss (not the robots). I got so damn frustrated last night.
Boss fights in this game suck. I love everything else about it though. |
